The eyes of all three women nearly popped out of their heads as they stared at Peggy with a dumbfounded look on their faces. Tina was the only one able to find her voice.
"Th-the last line? But why? What would we change it to?"
Peggy sighed as she walked over to a group of lounge chairs under a large tree were Tina, Alice and Sam had eaten lunch earlier.
"It appears that Vogue also has a Vegas themed line which they are so happily unveiling tonight during their own show in LA. I will not stand in their shadow, I refuse"
Tina’s eyes dropped to floor, as she thought about what Peggy was saying. Some words fell on deaf ears as she was too busy worrying about whether or not it was even possible to change an entire line at the last minute. Tina highly doubted it could be done.
"You have a wedding line, yes?"
Peggy’s words brought Tina from her thoughts as she lifted her head and nodded with some fear, "Yes but I haven’t had a chance to finalize any of my sketches yet"
Peggy smiled in approval to Tina’s admittance to having a wedding line. The smile scared the blonde to say the least as wild thoughts ran through her mind. Oh God, Peggy couldn’t be suggesting that they use the one line that Tina didn’t finish . . was she?
"Excellent, let’s finalize them now so that we can get the seamstresses to work"
Fuck, she was . .
"But Peggy, some of my sketches aren’t even complete not to mention the show is less than a week away. We’re severely understaffed to get that much work done in such a small time-"
"I was told by Helena and countless others that you were the best. If they were mistaken then I’ll find someone else to-"
"No!" Tina blurted out and surprising Peggy before offering a much softer, "No . . I’ll find a way to get it all done in time"
"Good and since we are working with a very small time frame, I’ll need as many of those sketches done and finalized by tonight"
"Tonight?" Tina asked in disbelief.
"Yes. Is that a problem?" Peggy asked with a raised eyebrow.
Tina had planned to go home to Bette as early as possible so that they could spend the rest of the night together but it was looking like that wasn’t going to happen. As much as she wanted to tell Peggy to shove the whole show where the sun didn’t shine, Tina had worked extremely hard on it and didn’t want to see all of her effort going to waste.
"No . . I’m sorry, I’m just havin’ a hard time adjustin’ to all the changes"
"Well get used to it, Tina. You’re in the fashion industry, you know full well how it works. Things change here more than people switch bed partners"
The last sentence was sneered and Peggy made sure to focus her gaze on the spot on Tina’s neck that she had been hiding. The blonde pursed her lips and dropped her hand, knowing it was useless to hide something the harsh woman had already noticed.
Helena’s eyes also locked onto the mark on Tina’s neck, her expression clearly stating that she hadn’t been as observant as her mother. She averted her eyes just as Peggy decided to keep the conversation going.
"Since there are a lot of sketches to go through, Helena will stay and help you. She’s the only one other than me who can finalize and I’ll be seeing to other matters"
For some reason, the entire situation sounded staged to Tina but she didn’t argue the issue. Obviously Peggy was pushing Tina’s buttons because of what happened between her and Helena. Either way, Tina wouldn’t give the stubborn woman any satisfaction.
The show was hers and she was going to make sure it blew Peggy’s mind . . she would just have to break the news to Bette that she had to spend their night together with her ex-fiancee . . . oh boy.

OMG😱 I’d rather you start off with the drama and end with the sexiness. I know the drama isn’t that bad but sheesh😁 she call Bette and give the 411. Maybe Bette can smooth Peggy over? Loved it Liah, thank you 😘

Of course we need to throw Bette into the mix! In her own sweet ways, she can probably tame Peggy down a bit so that the others can breathe. Its going to be a busy night in more ways than one…
Wow, bitchy Peggy is… totally bitchy. I like. And I also… hate. Tina needs to crush her, somehow. Maybe Bette can help Tina finish the show on time and also put the old goat in her place. And her little daughter, too. >:) I did (do) like the on-going make-up-sex-a-thon. I hope it continues at some point. ;P Thanks for the post! :)

My tongue was on the floor drooling for the first few pages and the enter the drama. Poor Tina…hopefully Bette will take the news well and trust Tina to be alone w/ Helena. Bette needs to watch out for Peggy causing trouble…post soon!

OMFG! this is what i call writing a NC-17 chapter, what a sex marathon! Bette and Tina definitely deserve gold medals in that department Ha! In last chapter when we learned that peggy and helena were going to be in town for the show there would be serious trouble ahead. peggy is the ultimate bitch in this story, actually she sounds like melvin on the show, instead of her wild, fun, freewheeling self from the show. And I really don’t appreciate her at all. Because as Tina thought, peggy is staging an all out assault on her trying to get helena and Tina back together. Hopefully Tina will let Bette come to where she is working and help her with the preparations, maybe even having a crew of seamstresses available locally that she can call on to pull this off for Tina and shoot peggy and helena down because I think that peggy is secretly hopng that Tina can’t do this. As others before me have wished maybe Tina would be able to use Bette’s jewelry in the show as a last minute surprise for peggy especially that wall that everyone loves so much especially Tina. Maybe Bette could use the wall without Tina even knowing which would make the show perfect. Great chapter. Thanks.
