Tina awoke to a soft buzzing under her fingertips. Her eyes fluttered open, burning slightly from the bright sunlight that shone through the window and reflected off the polished wooden floor. She blinked a few times to adjust her eyes to the bright light as another round of buzzing tingled her fingers.
Tina grasped the device under her hand, pulling it out from under her pillow and turning off the silent alarm on her cell phone. She had set it the night before, knowing she had to wake early to prepare for the fashion show later on that evening but didn’t want to wake Bette. Especially considering the time they had actually fallen asleep.
Tina inhaled deeply, a wide smile spreading across her face at the recollection of the amazing night she and Bette shared. They made love over and over, so many times in fact that Tina still felt a trembling in her legs. She hoped she would be able to walk properly, smiling as she turned onto her back.
Bette was resting soundly beside her, an expression of pure bliss on her beautiful face. Tina spent a few moments admiring the angel beside her, something she found herself doing every morning. Laying in that bed beside Bette felt right, nothing felt more perfect or made Tina more happy than being wrapped in the arms of her true love.
As much as Tina had tried to fight it in the past, she knew that fact to be true more than anything else. Bette was and always would be the love of her life.
With Tina’s change in position, Bette instinctively snuggled closer and wrapped her arm tighter around Tina’s slender waist, offering a more protective hold. Tina smiled at the way Bette kept her safe even while they slept, expressing her love for the blonde at the same time her mind was lost in a dream.
Tina’s heart swelled with love and adoration as she gently ran the back of her finger down the slope of Bette’s nose.

Fantastic chapter. Wonder if we could get you to write the remake of Sweet Home, with JB and LH starring in it. It would be a fantastic number one at the box office.
