    Soul Mates – Chapter 9

"Hi, I’m sorry to bother you but can I ask where did you get that necklace?"

Sam raised an eyebrow and gave Alice a sideways look only to notice she had the same confused look. The woman Tina was talking too however, was more than happy to talk about the piece of jewelery around her neck. Sam tilted her head to better admire it and had to admit, it was a very pretty necklace. It seemed to soak up the rays of the sun, making it shine and even glow. It looked as if it was made of seashells or some kind of crystal, Sam wasn’t exactly sure but it was certainly something she had never seen before.

"Oh, do you like it? I saw it in the shop and I just had to buy it" Judging by her accent, the woman was most certainly a tourist.

    Tina’s interest grew, "A shop?"

"Well . . its not exactly a shop, that’s just what me and my husband called it. There’s all kinds of jewelery and even pieces of artwork made with what I think is seashells . ." The woman glanced down at her necklace and studied it more carefully, "Yeah, it could be seashells. I wanted to ask more about it but we were told the owner wasn’t in at the moment"

As the woman rambled on and on about her necklace and seashells, Tina seemed to become more and more eager as well as impatient for the woman to get on with her story. Sam didn’t have any idea why Tina was reacting that way, maybe she just wanted a necklace for herself.

"Oh, I see" Tina said with as much patience as possible. She didn’t want to be rude and risk the woman not telling her where the shop was, "And this shop is around here?"

"Oh right, yes I’m sorry. Guess I got carried away. Its right over there . ." She pointed in the direction that Tina, Sam and Alice were heading and not too far off at a really big building with large windows. There was an artistic sort of view to the building, a wide wrap-around deck that had tables set out and a canopy hovering over to offer shade. People were laughing, talking and drinking wine as they seemed to be admiring something inside the building.

    1. Wonderful Story! Loved that when things are meant to be, it’s best just to go with the flow. I love that they’ve reached the moment of truth in knowing what they need to do to create their future together. Uh huh!

    2. I love this update! Thanks Liah! :-) and happy Easter too! I hope your health is getting better and better ;-) anyway, I wonder what crisis is there which keeping them away for now!? And the way you wrote on how Alice keep interrupting is kinda cute yet annoying :-p lol so looking forward to your next update! Oya, if Peggy is having that huge power over Tina’s show/career, I do hope it won’t be nasty once Peggy find out about Tina and Helena :-( well… Pining for the update now..

    3. Progress! They have more to talk about but it’s a start. The Peabody women are coming to town, though. Things may get a bit tense, but Bette still has most of two days to reconnect with Tina. Hopefully, no jealousy over Tina’s recent past comes to the fore and everything goes smoothly and Helena just buggers back off to New York… but where’s the fun in that? >:D Glad you’re back, thanks for the post! :)

    4. Wonderful update. So happy they now know how each other feels and that they want their marriage to work. Hope Peggy will be nice to Tina and helena just needs to mind her own business and understands that Tina wants Bette and vice versa. But knowing helena she will probably make a play for Tina and I hope the hell someone shuts her down. And I hope Tina’s mother keeps her damned nose out of Tina’s business where it concerns her marriage to Bette. Thanks for posting. PPS

    5. Tomorrow’s Easter…and the only rising from the so-called dead I want to read about is the rekindling of fire that has never gone out on our B&T! (better than an infinite supply of chocolate bunnies! What I mean is – I’d take a post over chocolate!!! ANY DAY!!!!

    6. Happy Easter!!!! I loved it Liah and I can’t wait for later. Sorry to hear about the bug and happy to know you’re recovering well. You are rocking my world. Thank you 😘
