    "Dana will you marry me?"

    Dana’s breath caught in her mouth for a second before she grabbed at Alice’s arms and pulled her up into a passionate embrace, digging her head into Alice’s neck as she mumbled the word ‘yes’ over and over again. She finally pulled her head back up to face Alice, whose teary eyes matched Dana’s perfectly.

    "I’d love to marry you Alice," Dana croaked once more, a large smile on her face. Alice sighed a sigh of relief before placing the ring on Dana’s trembling finger at the same time as she placed a lingering kiss on Dana’s lips.

     

    Dana opened her eyes as Alice left her lips once more just in time to spot the shadowy figure in the corner of the room. Squinting her sight, she could just make out who it was…

    "Dana do you want a dumpling?"

    "Mom?"

    That’s when it hit her, and faster than a speeding bullet Dana awoke from possibly the best dream she had ever had.

     

    Dana sat upright when she woke up, subsequently causing a sleeping Alice to fall hard on the wooden floor.

    "Dana what the hell?" Alice exclaimed, grabbing her way up onto the bed. Her annoyance soon faded when she noticed the genuinely horrified expression plastered on her girlfriend’s face. "Baby what happened?"

    "I-I…" Dana began, not sure how to explain to Alice what just happened. "I’m not sure… Al why are you on the floor?"

    "You pushed me off," Alice replied wryly as she shook her head. She quickly pulled herself back onto the bed and sat up, allowing Dana to fall into her lap. "Hun you’re all sweaty and shivering. Do you want me to get anything?"

    "No it’s fine Al," Dana replied, looking up at Alice and giving her a weak smile. "I just had a bad dream, that’s all."

    "Do you want to talk about it?" Alice managed to say through a stilted yawn. "It must have been pretty bad considering the state you’re in."

    "Thanks," Dana replied sarcastically, causing the blonde to ruffle her hair playfully. "I’m fine now, really. It’s a good feeling waking up next to you again."

    Alice met Dana’s eyes and nodded before sliding back down into the bed and lightly kissing Dana’s lips.

    1. What a tease!!! I kind of liked the fact that it was a dream though…excellent chapter. Even though it was short it didn’t feel rushed to me. I’ll take any amount of this story I can. It’ll be interesting to see what happends…will Dana propose to Alice? Great job and I can’t wait till the next chapter!

BOBO!..okay i haven’t read this yet, or Road to Joy 3, but i just want to tell you how freakin excited i was as soon as i saw you posted 2 chapters!..and finally Soul Singing! yes!, i’m so glad you got back in the groove with this story. It’s such a great Danish fic, but okay enough talking i’m gonna go read..and then reply…again. lol

    8. awesome awesome chapter bojangles. I caught myself reading each word per minute, but it was really good! I love your alice and dana, they are so cute. Hopefully dana will tell alice about her dream, and maybe alice will actually propose soon. i dunno, but i will keep on reading this story till forever, even if alice and dana are old ladies.
