"I can’t begin to describe just how good of a feeling it is," Alice replied, snuggling into Dana’s chest and closing her eyes once more. "In fact I’m going to go back to sleep now just so that I can wake up again and relive the whole experience in another few hours. Goodnight babe."
Dana rolled her eyes and kissed the top of Alice’s head before wishing her goodnight as well, although her mind was on anything but sleeping. The only thing occupying her thoughts was her dream – the most vivid, realistic dream Dana had ever had in her entire life.
The dream where Alice declared that she wanted to spend her life with Dana, and where Dana vowed to do the same.
The dream where suddenly Dana’s entire life made sense, and where her future had never seemed brighter.
The dream where Dana had, undoubtedly, experienced what it was like to be truly happy.
It was, in fact, the realisation that all of these feelings had been the pure result of Dana’s imagination, that caused the tears to begin falling from the brunette’s eyes.
"So did you have hot kinky sex all night?"
It worried Alice that Liam’s first question to her came as no surprise. Generally if it had been anyone else, Alice would have given them a piece of her mind. Liam however, well it was just the sort of question he would ask.
"Why is it that you think I have all this ‘kinky’ sex all the time?" Alice asked as she turned a nearby chair around to sit on it, her arms crossed above the top of the chair and her chin gently resting on her arms. Liam simply shrugged off Alice’s question. "Fine. Whatever. Well there was no ‘kinky’ involved last night."
"I suppose it was passion filled and laced with love?" Liam asked sarcastically, ducking the cup Alice threw at his head seconds later. "Violent today…"
"Just for you," Alice replied, a fake smile spreading across her face. "Look it was fantastic and… to have her back in my life… It just all fits."
"I’m glad to hear it," Liam stated, his fingers absentmindedly picking at the bass guitar in his hands. "Because if you two didn’t get together soon, Howie and I were going to have to stage an intervention…"

What a tease!!! I kind of liked the fact that it was a dream though…excellent chapter. Even though it was short it didn’t feel rushed to me. I’ll take any amount of this story I can. It’ll be interesting to see what happends…will Dana propose to Alice? Great job and I can’t wait till the next chapter!
I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long it seems now that it’s here well it’s even better then I dreamed it great chapter I’m a little sad that the proposal wasn’t real but I get it that might be a little too soon. Great chapter can’t wait for the next!

BOBO!..okay i haven’t read this yet, or Road to Joy 3, but i just want to tell you how freakin excited i was as soon as i saw you posted 2 chapters!..and finally Soul Singing! yes!, i’m so glad you got back in the groove with this story. It’s such a great Danish fic, but okay enough talking i’m gonna go read..and then reply…again. lol
awesome awesome chapter bojangles. I caught myself reading each word per minute, but it was really good! I love your alice and dana, they are so cute. Hopefully dana will tell alice about her dream, and maybe alice will actually propose soon. i dunno, but i will keep on reading this story till forever, even if alice and dana are old ladies.
