Staring Into the Mirror Ch.1 : Getting on the same page.
And? Andie, wake up, baby. Shane said into her ear.
Andie sat straight up fast. Huh?
Dana and Alice covered their mouths as they silently laughed. Shane smirked. She felt completely better when she saw Andie, she had missed her. Shane hadnt seen her in a week. Andie had been working a lot and busy with her band and Shane was extremely busy at Lather. The past week both of them had ended up going to their own apartments and passing out as soon as they got home. Normally, Shane would either be waiting at Andies new place or Andie would be at Shanes. Either way they always ended the night in each others arms. Except for the past week that is, they had barely talked on the phone even.
Long night, Andie? Alice asked.
Andie wiped her mouth and tried to sit up, Yeah, its been crazy.
Shane handed her the mocha. Andie smiled to her and took a swig.
Hey you. Andies raspy voice said to Shane. Shane moved the hair out her lovers eyes and smiled big. They kissed softly.
Alice rolled her eyes.
Kit gave me the next few days off. I dont have to work at Velvets until Thursday. So, Im going to try and catch up on sleep and other things. Andie said drinking more of the mocha.
Oh you mean catch up on ***** time with Shane? Alice laughed.
Absolutely. Andie grinned and looked at Shane. That is if you have time.
Im off today, so Im all yours. Shane wrapped around Andies neck.
Good. Andie winked at Shane, then asked Alice. Have you decided yet on the offer from Rolling Stone?
No, Im still researching it. I want to make the right decision. Alice said.
They all nodded. Andie leaned her head on Shanes shoulder.
A cut woman with blonde curly hair walked by the table. She was tall and very leggy. She went up to the counter and ordered something then turned around while she waited. She saw Shane.
Shane? the woman asked, walking towards the table.
All of the ladies looked at her. Shane squinted her eyes, and then smiled. Andie lifted her head up from Shanes shoulder.
Hey Roxy. Shane said nicely.
