“And here we are… she is my best friend”
“This is how I know that you never have anything to
worry about with Tina she would never ever cheat on you because she knows how
it feels to be hurt that badly it’s not in her to inflict that kind of pain to
anyone especially not someone she loves.”
“Helena…I see the way you look at her I know you
still have feelings for her how can I be sure? I mean do you still love her?”
“Bette you can never be sure…but you do have to
learn how to trust to have faith you can’t live your life thinking about the
what if’s you’ll be miserable, you’ll never be happy”
“You still haven’t answered my question”
“No I guess I haven’t…and like I told her I’ll tell
you the same….I’ll always love Tina, but now we are just friends my love for
her goes no further than that of a friendship…all I want for her right now is
to be happy she deserves to be happy and I know you’re the only one who can
make that happen”
Bette nodded
They remained silent for a while Helena got up and
broke the silence in the room.
“I have to go…it’s late and I have to be in the
office early”
Bette nodded again.
Helena turned to leave.
“Helena” Bette called out
Helena turned
“Thank you…you didn’t have to be so honest with me
after the way I treated you”
“Yes I did…like I said I want Tina to be happy”
“Thank you” Bette smiled
“You’re welcome” Helena opened the door and walked
out.
Helena walked to the counter to pick up her order
she knew was probably already ruined, but she was tired she didn’t care she was
surprised to see Jodie was still there.
Jodie walked up to Helena.
“Jodie your still here” Helena forced a smile
“Yes…I decided to wait for Bette”
“Well good for you” Helena rolled her eyes
“I want her back” Jodie stated
“Like I said ‘Good for you’ and good luck with that”
“You know you and I we can help each other out here,
I know you want the feisty blonde back, I know how crazy you were about her and
I want Bette so…I think we should work together, to ensure we both get what we
want.” Jodie smiled
Helena smiled back, giving Jodie a glimmer of hope.
“I don’t think so” A smiling Helena said
“I’ll talk to you later Bette” Helena said before
she walked out a huge grin on her face.
Jodie turned, hoping Bette had not heard what she
had proposed to Helena, Jodie slowly turned to see a very angry Bette glaring
at her.
“Bette, I was waiting for …”
“Please spare me… I think we’ve said all we have to
say to each other…I fully intend to keep the commitment Franklin made to the
school of the arts I’ve seen some of the work your students have done and there
is lots of talent there, the CAC would be happy to display their work, you will
go through Lori she is great and will be able to help you, our RELATIONSHIP
working or otherwise is over. I might have considered being friends with you
once…but have reconsidered and decided to sever all ties with you. So take care
of yourself and believe me when I say I wish you nothing but the best”
“Bette” Jodie called out but it was too late Bette
was already out the door.
“Shit” Jodie said out loud

Thanks for posting, I missed this story.
I still say , Tina needs to apologize.
It wasn’t Helena’s place to have that talk with Bette. I don’t trust her and I can’t believe if Tina was so in love with Helena that one night with Dylan would have been the end of them. I hate when Helena, Tina and Jodi work on Bette’s fragile emotions to manipulate her. Helena needs to move out of Tina’s house and keep her distance to give these two a chance. If Tina is threatening Helena with her job for personal reasons then I would say that is a conflict of interest. Jodi is obviously a non-issue for Bette but I’m not sure Helena is. Glad to see you back with this story even if I’m in disagreement about how it’s going.
Great update! Hopefully w/ Helena’s help Bette and Tina can’t get back to the love they once shared. PPS!

That was great and glad to see Helena is helping Bette and Tina there, and being a good friend, jodi is a bitch and hope she will be gone soon. Now let see Bette go talk to Tina and work thing out. Pleaes post morr, thanks!
So glad that jodi is an idiot. Really happy that Bette told her where to go. Now with any luck Bette is on her way to see Tina and apologize for being an idiot as well. Hopefully Tina will accept her apology and let Helena move into a hotel which is best for all concerned. I’m torn as to whether or not Tina needed to tell Bette about Helena, after all it is in the past in Tina’s mind, not so sure about Helena’s, maybe, maybe not just not sure on that. At any rate I’m glad that Helena explained to Bette what had happened and that their relationship at this point is platonic. Although platonic, I don’t think it is ever a good idea to be friends with an ex when you know that your partner has a jealous streak and that she has been hurt very badly in the past. Jealousy is a very bad thing and sometimes doesn’t lessen over time even though they have all the explanations in the world regarding whatever has them in a snit. Hopefully they can make up before Tina leaves for her trip which will make her get back home as fast as possible. Have really missed the story, thanks so much for coming back to us.
