Bette gave a little sigh of relief.
Alice turned away from the crowd at her table, their talk focused on Jenny and the tales of her return.
“You guys should come down,” Alice insisted, “TK too … Jenny’s back.”
Bette glanced up at Tina, “Jenny?”
“Uh huh …” Alice nodded. “Jenny.”

Lottie rolled over in bed and snuggled close against Jo’s back, slipping her hand around her waist and sneaking down to explore, wondering if Jo felt as deliciously sore as she did.
“Mmmnhmnn …?” Jo mumbled, turning over gently in her sleep.
Lottie slid on top of her and kissed her, surprised to be waking up so refreshed before the alarm considering the late night they both had.
Jo wrapped her arms around her sleepily and began to talk without opening her eyes. “Hey gorgeous, what time is it?”
Lottie glanced at the clock. “Shit!!” She leapt out of bed and started madly searching the bedroom for her clothes, “Shit … shit … shit! … It’s almost half-ten!”
Jo opened her eyes and sat up, studying the offending alarm clock, “Huh … mustn’t have gone off?”
“You think?” Lottie tore around the bedroom in a flap, picking up clothes whether they were hers or Jo’s she didn’t really care.
“Aren’t you gonna shower?” Jo asked, smirking at her from the bed.
Lottie glared back at her, “Not helping!”
At half-past ten she sat expectantly on Jo’s couch with an inadequate cup of coffee and Banjo sniffing her curiously. Jo sat beside her, picking up the anxiety and twitchiness emanating from her girlfriend.
At ten thirty-five, Lottie began to get annoyed that Bette was late. “She’s late.”
Jo nodded, “It’s probably traffic.”
At ten forty, Lottie finished her coffee and got up to make another one. “I could have showered after all.”
At quarter to eleven there was a knock at the door and Jo answered it, finding Angie stood waiting on the other side, trying her best not to be obvious about the way she peeked inside her school teacher’s apartment.
Banjo ran out to say hello to her and Angie crouched down to cuddle him. “Mom’s waiting in the car.”
Jo nodded, urging Lottie along.

Thank you for each and every page, I love the interaction between the whole family and have missed this story. You’d have to be on ludes to have Jenny and Lottie sleeping together, please say it ain’t so. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you, Md
Well, look who’s here! It was only last night that I read some of the early chapters of this saga, having grown bored waiting for new ones. Tell that HB person she ought to get her ass in gear and post as well. No matter what may or may not have happened, to wake up in Jenny’s bed (well, Alice’s really) is a sure sign that way too much alcohol was consumed. Please define ‘mithered’.
I am so happy to see this story again. It is still a favorite of mine. Although I still am not a fan of Jenny and now you have Lottie hooking up with her. Now, Lottie is really like Bette in doing something that she would not normally do. I hope that she just passed out and nothing actually happened. Still love Bette and Tina and always will. Angie is a hoot and maybe now Che will talk to the others.
Well, hello, sofa! I’m so glad to read an update from you! :) It’s sad that there’s an expanding wasteland of uncompleted stories in this wonderful site but I’m glad this one hasn’t gone that route yet. Anyway, if Lottie slept with Jenny as implied, that would be a cause for worry. Huge thanks for this post, sofa! Hope your hectic work life will ease up soon. :>

Nothing to worry about, Alice only has the one bedroom, and Lottie probably just fell into bed, totally sloshed, and I bet her and Jenny didn’t even share a chaste peck, let alone any sort of drunken passionate snogging. I don’t even think Jenny’s gonna tease Lottie about it, ever. See, sofa? Relentless optimism. The same relentless optimism that let me know you’d post again at some point. And the same optimism that’s telling me you’ll be posting again in the near future. So thanks for the chapter, you’ve been missed. Cheers!

I am thrilled to get a new chapter, but please tell me Lottie didn’t sleep with Jenny. It would break my heart to have Lottie confess her love to Jo and turn around to fall in bed with Jenny.
