Super Hero High 4

The girls slept peacefully that night and for the first time in a long time Bette slept without any nightmares. In her dreams before she used to wake up drenched in a cold sweat and shivering after dreaming that she was fighting off a villain. Sometimes there were just one, other times there were many. She had even dreamt about people in her dreams that were in her very dorm but never knew who they were before now. When they woke up in the morning Shane had fallen asleep on her surfboard hovering above her bed with a blanket draped off of half her body.

Tina: I swore I saw her fall asleep in her bed last night.

Tina said as she looked on with a furrowed brow. Shane slept on barely noticing the morning. Bette walked over and placed her hand on Shane’s upper arm and rubbed her warm metallic skin. It wasn’t much skin as it was actual metal.

Bette: Shane… wake up…

Shane’s body shifted and Bette smiled.

Shane: Give me 20 minutes.

Shane mumbled, Bette shook her head.

Bette: Shane, get up now or I will send an electro current through your body that could energize a power plant.

Shane’s eyes opened instantly and wide as she looked groggily at Bette.

Shane: You can do that?

Bette shrugged.

Bette: I don’t know, want to find out?

Shane shook her head and sat up she looked down as the blanket fell down and on the floor. She ran her fingers through her hair and made a face.

Shane: This always happens.

Dana gave a giggle.

Dana: I saw you floating up last night and it looked kind of funny.

Shane smiled sheepishly.

Shane: Yeah, I don’t think I’ve slept a full night in a bed like… ever.

Alice got up and stood, then she was gone and the bathroom door closed.

Alice: Beat you to the bathroom!!!

She yelled behind the door.

Tina: Sneaky little brat…

Tina smiled. Dana got up and banged on the door.

Dana: Be fast or I’ll come in there and I don’t care if you’re naked or not.
