Talice Lovers

”Do you want me to come with you,” she says smiling.
Grabbing her hand, “That’s a good idea.” While in the bathroom, Janet knocks on the door. When she didn’t hear a response she let herself into the room. She’s has towels in her hands. In the blur that has been the last 48 hours, she can’t remember if she put clean towels in the bathroom. Realizing that she hears the water running she places the towels at the end of the bed. As she turns to leave, she notices the bathroom door is open; she catches a glance of Tasha and Alice’s silhouette through the shower glass they are holding each other.
Janet hurries out, closing the door behind her. She stands there, takes a deep breath and starts to cry…it’s a mixed cry of her loss hitting her while Major Thomas Williams was a difficult man to deal with at times, she loved him dearly. It was that happiness she perceived as Tasha and Alice’s love for each other.
Janet knows ”Slim,” her beloved oldest, was always so purposeful in her life. Tasha made no false moves when she said it, she meant it, no matter what it was. She knew how hard it was for Tasha to come to grips with her sexuality. She knew of Tasha’s relationship w/Simone, because Tasha wrote her, asking her not to tell her Dad and knowing that she could trust her mom enough to help her deal with the realization that she was gay. Janet still had those letters. Janet figures if Tasha is going to bring Alice home especially at this moment Alice must be really special to her. Janet, reflecting on the fact that Tasha was a lot like her Dad, knew that Alice was one lucky woman. Despite the ups and downs of a relationship and Janet had been on that rollercoaster with Major Williams, the one thing she knew, that he always made clear to her (and that she believed) was that he loved her; even when he’d fuck up badly. Janet wipes her face with her hand and decides to go re-read those letters. As she turns to walk away she hears a small groan come from Tashas room she turns to look at the door then walks away quickly.

I am a true blue Tibette fan, but I love Tasha so I look forward to reading more of this fic. I did not like the Alice from the show or most of the fiction here being portrayed as a nosy busy body so I look forward to seeing her in a new light. PPS :)
