By the time Kit finished the song, not a dry eye had to be had. Everyone in the room including the wait staff stood and watched as the two women danced together; each one thinking how Bette and Tina were made for each other and this continued throughout the night.
Epilogue
“Tell me again why we are doing this?”
“Because we love each other.”
“Yes, I know we love each other, but this…this…why are we doing THIS…hee hee hee…woo woo woo…hee hee hee.”
“Because you didn’t want the pain meds to cloud the experience of natural childbirth.”
“If…we…decide…to…do…this…again…shoot me.” She breathed through the contraction.
Dr. Wilson glanced up at the two women. “Okay mommies, get ready…there’s a contraction coming…okay bare down…push…one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight…okay.”
The one woman stood next to her wife. “You are so amazing. You are doing great.” She kissed the woman on the forehead. “We’re almost there.”

“Okay mommies…get ready….deep breath. Bare down. Really push hard this time…push like you have to go to the bathroom…one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nice…nice…the head is crowning…a little bit more…I need three more big push…great…”
“whah whah whah whah whah,” Â the newborn wailed.
Dr. Wilson suctioned the newborn. She smiled at the two women. “It’s a boy.” She lifted the newborn for the two women to see.
“Sweetie, did you hear that? We have a son. Oh, my god, he’s so beautiful and you were so great…so amazing.” She walked over to Dr. Wilson. “May I cut the cord?”
A nurse handed the woman a pair of scissors and watched as she cut the cord and wiped away tears from her eyes.
The woman walked back to her wife. “Angelica is going to excited that she has a baby brother.” She kissed her wife. “I love you so much.”
Another nurse walked over to the two women. She handed the newborn to the woman who was standing. “Here, you go. Here’s your son.”
The woman took the newborn and lovingly looked at her son. “Hello, Christopher James. It’s a pleasure to meet you. We have waited for you for a long time.” Bette placed a kiss on the newborn’s forehead and then turned to her wife; she gently placed him in his other mother’s arms. The mother and son looked at each other in wonderment while tears clouded Bette’s vision at the bonding taking place between her wife and their son. It had been a miracle that Tina had gotten pregnant. After Angelica was born, she had developed complications and was told she may not be able to carry full term, but she had undergone a procedure and after months of trying and with the last try of insemination taking place on their honeymoon, Tina finally conceived. Bette laughed and cried when the newborn smiled or what she thought was a smile. This little boy had the making of Tina’s shy smile and with Tina’s hazel eyes; this little boy was going to be a heart breaker. Â “Shall I tell Angelica and the gang the news, my sweet?”

Sweet chapter. That was a wonderful chapter of second chances and renewed love relationships. Someone else said in another story that just about every kind of profession has been written about the girls and their love affair and all the things they have gone through. Well, maybe not everything and it doesn’t matter any way because everyonen’s perspective is different and that is what gives us all a thrill when we get a new story or even a sequel to one. Health scares are just too much sometimes and it brings us up short and makes us live our lives with a new perspective as well. Take care of yourself and your family and come back to us when you can. After a long break-no computer and life in general I just read chapters 26-The Finale and it was just so amazing and beautiful. I loved coming back to the chapter with the loving going on and then to the rehearsal dinner party and Alice’s speech along with B&T talking about the first time they met. I then loved the spin on them thinking they had to spend the night apart and them they all met for ice cream. The wedding was just the best and for a minute there I fought Bette was having the baby and the name for the baby was just great. Loved this story, thank you

Finally reached the end, well what can I say again another fantastic story, I really wish we were able to read about Alice delivery but just knowing Tina had another baby and of all a boy something they always wanted…smh thank you Angelica you was a miracle then when born and now for bringing Tibette back together again after 5 years..Teegirl you are brilliant absolutely brilliant!
