Present Day 2008

Lara sat in silence in the taxi and thought about her past. What she did what she could have done. She was about to fall asleep when the driver announncent that she reached her destination. The airport. “Where everythings starts and everything ends.” Lara thought. She walked to the ticket counter and asked for a ticket for the next flight to Cologne. “I hope that´s far away for her. Or should I better emigrate to the moon?” the redhead walked to the waiting area and sat down on a free seat. “Where did it begin? Why did it happen? How did it happen? Was it before Dana´s death? After it? Do I really love her? Am I enough for her?” Lara didn´t see the person sitting next to her. “Well hello, so good to see you again. How are you?” the redhead looked a bit confused at the woman sitting enxt to her. And she suddenly remembered her. It was Cora Sung, the nurse or whatever she was at the hospital. “Hello, well I am leaving LA. Too many things tend to happen here while I am here it seems. And were are you going? Aren´t you supposed to be at the hospital? They told us….me…they don´t know you there.” Cora Sung looked at her skeptical “Well, Miss Perkins, I have finished my duties there. I think I am much more needed here it seems. Why are you leaving LA? Because of Miss Gepiesackt? I hope not. She refused to leave your side when you were hospitalized. She seemed to really like you.” Cora smile at Lara. “Cora, she did something awful. She said she loved me and then ran off to Gabby Devaux. She cheated on me. She tells me she loves me yet she sleeps with another woman. How could she do that? Why did she do that? Wasn´t I enough?” Lara shook her head trying not to cry again. “We all make mistakes. May I remind you not so long ago I kind of made the same mistake. With you.” Lara looked at Cora confused. But Cora was gone. Instead now someone else was there. “Dana? What? How? Why? How you come here? You are dead?” Lara was even more confused now. Her dead ex girlfriend was sitting next to her, smiling almost laughing. “Lara, I am sorry I had to play this game. But someone had to bring you two together for god´s sake, don´t make the same mistake like I did and run away from her. It´s all I can do for you two now. That she cheated on you was bad, but it happens. Listen, I don´t have so much time. Alice really loves you. I know this for sure. Please give her another chance. Like she gave me another chance. Remember? Life is about forgiving, not about holding drudges against each other. You will regret it when you die. Believe me, I know what I am talking about. Since I should be six feet under.” Lara smiled at her “Dana, you know I loved you right? You know I am not doing this with Alice because I don´t love you? Please tell if I am doing something bad, something evil, something deadly awful.” Dana looked at Lara and smiled “I knew you love each other before I died. I knew it since the day you started to have feelings. That was when I realized I had to sent you away. I wanted Alice all for myself. And at the same time I wanted you all for myself. Forgive me sending you away. I was too selfish, but that was my old life. I will get new one. I just had the chance to return and make amends. And those amends are you and Alice. Please, Gabby wasn´t her mistake. She was overrun by her. Come mon you dated Gabby too. There is a reason why she is called Lesbian X. Lara, my time is up here. Please give her another chance. I know this is confusing for the both of you. Believe me there is a reason behind all this. Just trust me.” Dana and Lara looked at each other and now Lara smiled at Dana. “I did always trust you. And will always trust you. But before I go back there is something I have to do. This tiem she has to come to me, I was always running after her. I want her to prove she really loves me. If she comes to the airport she loves me, if she comes to Cologne she really truly loves me. I just want her to make steps toward me, tell me she loves me. That´s all.” Dana smiled and stood up and turned around and started to walk away. “Dana where are you going?” Looking over her shoulder she smiled one last time at Lara. “It´s time, every seen GHOST WHISPERER? It´s like that. I can see a light. I can feel it calling me. I have to go. Tell her I always loved her and will always love her.” After Dana said that she disappeared. And left a confused Lara sitting alone, she needed a bit to realize that her flight was being called, she was arguing with herself if she should board at all. But ultimately she took the flight to Cologne. Little she knew that a certain blonde was searching for her in the entire city. Till she found out from Kit that Lara decided to take off a year and would go to Germany, to visit friends in Cologne. Alice reached the airport as the flight just started to fly up into the sky. But she refused to give up, and bought a ticket to take the next flight to cologne, even though she only had the clothes she wore, but she didn´t care. She just did it. She did it for the person, the woman, she loved above everything, above everyone.
