    Chapter 19

    The Talk

     

    Tina awoke first, taking a shower and making good on her promise she threw on her sweats and a snug old vintage T-shirt.

    She laid out a pair of black yoga pants, t-shirt and a pair of new sexy laced black underwear with the tag still on them that Alice told Tina she had to have, on the bed and quietly left the bedroom, not wanting to wake Bette.

    Tina picked up the phone and ordered a fully loaded large pizza; she opened the refrigerator and noticed she was out of beer and any thing edible, she made a mental note to go grocery shopping on Monday.

    She grabbed her keys and her wallet and headed out the door, she figured she had a bout 30- 40 minutes before the pizza arrived, that would giver her plenty of time to drive down to the convenience store and buy some beer along with some snacks.

     

    She thought about her impending talk with Bette.  Tina really didn’t know what she really wanted from Bette she knew she had feelings for her, she knew she cared about her but she really didn’t expected any sort of commitment from Bette she knew from her numerous talks with Alice and Shane, (Bette’s two closest friends) that Bette did not do relationships, she was more like a “Love them and leave them” type of girl.

    Sure Tina would be disappointed she really wanted to continue to see Bette, but she was ready to accept anything Bette would be willing to offer. Truth be told Tina was enjoying meeting different people at the clubs and she liked the relationship she was having with Brenda, she liked the cute blonde.

    Tina sighed, but ‘she’s not Bette’ Tina thought.

     

    Bette awoke and stretched her body, she felt little aches and pains on different parts of her body that had gotten a work out last night and this morning, it brought  a smile to her face she turned hoping to find the person responsible for  aches but instead she found the space next to her empty. She sat up and took notice of the time 3:00pm wow, I’ve never slept so long before.

     

    She sat up grabbed a robe that was thrown on the floor and put it on she walked over to the restroom and found it empty she noticed the clothes on the bed, and reached down and grabbed the lacy pr of new of lingerie and smiled picturing Tina wearing sexy piece of material, then a frown formed on her  face thinking of why Tina would need such a sexy piece of lingerie and who was she wearing for?
