Chapter 22

After a delicious dinner Bette and Tina spent the rest of their Sunday on Tina’s couch watching a DVD, Tina could not remembered the last Time she spent a more relaxing day or weekend for that matter, Bette had the same feelings it had been so long since she had an entire weekend off let alone a weekend in the company of someone she felt so comfortable with, a weekend with her girlfriend ‘yeah Bette Porter had a girlfriend’, she thought to herself, she smiled.

The only downside was the fact that it was coming to an end Bette would soon have to leave to go back to her empty house a house without Tina to a bed without Tina, she could not explain why in such as short time she felt this connection with the blonde she really did not want to leave but knew she would have to.

 Tina sat there on the couch thinking about the last couple of days with Bette, she could not believe she had spent the entire weekend with her, ‘was normal that in such a short time this felt so right?’  She didn’t want Bette to leave she already knew she would miss her.

Bette was laying on the couch with her head on Tina’s lap, while Tina was playing with her hair Bette loved it when Tina played with her hair it felt like heaven, it totally relaxed Bette having Tina’s fingers run through her hair. Bette looked up  at Tina who was watching the T.V intently.

“T, Its getting late I have to go home”

Tina looked at Bette, leaned down and placed a kiss on Bette’s lips.

“Do you really have to leave?”

“Yeah, I’m afraid I do I have a big staff meeting tomorrow and I haven’t prepared any of my notes yet, I’m going to be up pretty late putting them together, besides I don’t want to keep you up too late I know your day is going to be hectic tomorrow as well”

“Yeah I guess your right I have a meeting with Helena and Aaron tomorrow as well, and another right after with some billionaire who might to invest in some movies” Tina rolled her eyes
