“Good Morning James, where’s Allison?”

“Good morning Bette, she went down stairs to prep. The conference room for staff today”

“James, can you get me a cup of coffee, and the get me the florist on the phone, transfer the call to my office ok?”

“You got it boss”

Bette walked over to the window and looked out onto the city, she felt good for the first time in a long time she didn’t walk over to clear her head or ponder over any ideas or big decisions she walked over to enjoy the view.

There was a knock on her door

“Come in” she said as she walked to her desk

“Here’s your coffee Bette and the flower shop is holding on line 1 for you”

“Thank you James, can you let Allison know I to want to meet with you and her in my office after the staff meeting”

“Ok Bette”

“Thank you James”

Bette got on the phone with the florist and ordered 2 dozen roses to be sent to one Ms. Tina Kennard head of Production and Development at Shiloh-Peabody.

Bette smiled pulled out her notes and got to work.

“Good morning Tina, here are your messages, Helena wants to see you before the meeting with William she asked for you to call her when you got in”

“Good morning Lisa, who’s William?” Tina asked as she walked to her office flipping through her messages

“William Benson, he’s the billionaire who wants to invest in the movie business”

“Oh right, right ok, can you call Helena let her know I’m in, and we can meet here or I can drop by her office”

Tina walked in to her office, on her desk she saw the most beautiful arrangement of white and red roses she had ever seen, Lisa noticed the huge smile on her bosses face.

“They were just delivered, someone has an admirer” Lisa teased

“Have you’ve been hiding a boyfriend?  let me guess it’s Matt from accounting he’s always here, or is it Henry from marketing I see the way he looks at you”

“No, no Lisa no boyfriend, no boys for that matter” Tina looked at Lisa to gage her reaction.
