“With me? What did I do” Alice asked

“Why would you mention Jodie to Tina Al?”

“Why not it’s not like you’re still in love with her”

“Oh my god you still love Jodie don’t you?”

“Don’t be ridiculous Alice of course not” Bette responded

“I just don’t understand why Jodie is relevant in my relationship with Tina” Bette asked

“I just wanted Tina to understand why you were so closed off emotionally, why your so anti- relationships” Alice said

“I’m not closed off emotionally Al, I just have never found anyone I wanted to be emotional for, until T”

“I’m so happy to hear you say that Bette” Alice clapped and bounced in her chair

“But you do know you’re going to have to tell her about Jodie, sooner or later”

“why?”

“Because Bette weather you choose to admit it or not Jodie is big reason why you’re afraid of committing fully to someone”

“I’m not afraid Alice”

Alice gave Bette a look

“Ok maybe a little, but Tina is different, it’s different with her I’m not afraid to be with her”

“Don’t worry, now get out of here and go do whatever it is I pay you to do, I need to finish my work early today I have a date with a beautiful blonde.”

Before Bette started on the remainder of the paper work on her desk she called Salvatore’s an Italian restaurant by the ocean she always wanted to eat there it had good reviews she just never had time, she made a reservation for 2 at 730pm that would give them enough time to enjoy the drive.
