“I know how busy you are babe, plus I really didn’t think you were up to it, I know you think we need our privacy our own space so…there you go” Tina sounded a bit bothered this didn’t go unnoticed by Bette
“I’m sorry” Bette said as she kissed the top of Tina’s head
“For what?”
“For not taking your apartment key when you offered it to me, I shouldn’t have said no, it was insensitive of me and…” Tina cut Bette off
“Bette, you don’t have to explain anything to me, I was a little hurt at first but I got over it, I realize I may have moved to fast and I’m sorry”
“T, it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with me I don’t know why uugh..”
“Babe it’s alright really, I understand come on let’s not ruin a perfect weekend over a silly key ok? We can talk later”
“No, listen let me say what I need to say ok?”
“K” Tina snuggled closer to be and held her close to reassure her that everything was going to be ok.
“I want your key, there I said it, T this weekend was the best I’ve had in a long time it made me see how much I want to be with you and I promise I’m going to make every effort to spend more time with you I hate only seeing you once or twice a week or 30 minutes for lunch I miss you so much and I didn’t realize how much until you were gone, I know I have intimacy issues and I have a hard time trusting people, but I’m trying just please be patient with me, please, I love you and I want to make this work. I know it’s not going to be perfect we both have crazy work schedules but I want more days like this weekend”
Tina was silent, so silent that Bette thought maybe she had fallen asleep.
“T, are you awake”
Tina giggled
“Of course I am”
“Aren’t you going to say anything?” Bette asked
“Ditto”
“Ditto?? That’s it?!!”
“Yup Ditto” Tina smiled
“Tina!!” Bette couldn’t believe Tina response
“Babe” Tina said as she shifted her body so she was now laying on top of Bette, Tina made herself comfortable in between Bette’s legs and looked into Bette’s eyes, as she smiled.
“Yes” Bette answered
“I…LOVE…YOU…I’m so lucky to have you” Tina whispered as she gave Bette a deep kiss.
Bette realized everything was going to be ok, and SHE was the lucky one. They remained in each other’s arms watching the sunrise.

Finally, Bette is giving into her massive feelings that she has for Tina. Love the closeness that they shared during the weekend, just hope that it continues.
AH THE ENDING WAS SO NICE…
That was a great chapter and rather sweet. Good that Bette knows not everyone is like jodi and you can trust others not to break your heart. Also she has learned that Ms. Kennard is a very loving and loyal young lady that loves only Bette and wants to be loved only by Bette. Son Bette will need to come clean and tell Tina the truth about jodi and how she was hurt by her and that is why she has trust issues. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
