Chapter 31
Bette had spent a very busy day at the office, taking a quick break only to talk to Tina. Tina had great news she had been able to wrap things up in Vancouver and was finally coming home.
Bette arrived at the planet it looked busy, Kit told her to have a seat her food would be up in a minute, looking around she saw Alice and Shane at their usual table having dinner, Bette decided to walk over.
“Hey guys”
“Hi Bette” Both Shane and Alice said at the same time
“Do you guys mind if I sit for a minute I’m waiting for my food”
“Sit down Porter you don’t have to ask” Alice pulled out a chair.
“You look tired” Shane commented
“I’m exhausted Shane, running these magazines is driving me crazy, its taking up every bit of free time I have, every ounce of energy, but its finally coming together I think we’re getting the hang of it don’t you?”
“Yeah I must admit, its different marketing for an Art magazine is different I’m not too Art savvy, but Catherine has been great in helping me out I think I’m developing and ‘eye’ for art so to speak”
Bette couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’m glad Shane I need every one to be on the same page, if I’m to retain my sanity through all this”
“What about you AL? You finding it different writing your articles or having your staff do interviews with artist?”
“Na, I’m a professional, writing is writing you write what you feel what you see the only thing difference are the questions.”
Bette smiled
“So Porter, missing TK yet?”
“Yet? I missed her the day she left, she’s coming back home tomorrow” Bette answered honestly
“So you two getting serious?” Shane asked
“I don’t think I want to answer that one, I do love spending Time with her we get along great”
“Hey sis sorry for the delay its been crazy here today, here’s your food I packed a little something for tomorrow, all you have to do is stick it in the oven for about 15 minutes to heat it up”

Finally, Bette is giving into her massive feelings that she has for Tina. Love the closeness that they shared during the weekend, just hope that it continues.
AH THE ENDING WAS SO NICE…
That was a great chapter and rather sweet. Good that Bette knows not everyone is like jodi and you can trust others not to break your heart. Also she has learned that Ms. Kennard is a very loving and loyal young lady that loves only Bette and wants to be loved only by Bette. Son Bette will need to come clean and tell Tina the truth about jodi and how she was hurt by her and that is why she has trust issues. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
