“Tina, can I ask you a question?” Bette asks and looks into Tina’s eyes.
“Sure.” Tina replies.
“Why did you pull away from the kiss earlier so fast?” Bette asks and holds Tina’s hand.
Tina looks down and takes a deep breath. She then looks up again and meets Bette’s eyes.
“I suddenly got a little nervous.” Tina says.
“Nervous? I don’t want you to feel nervous.” Bette says softly. “Talk out your fears instead, I’m here to listen.” Bette continues. This makes Tina smile. She moves a little closer.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you since you came in to the lecture hall.” Tina let out and smiles shyly.
“Wow, for me it was since you walked into the interview. But then again, you saw me before I saw you.” Bette grins. They look at each other and smiles.
“I wasn’t sure… I panicked a little, thought that I might had stepped over the line.” Tina says softly.
“You weren’t, I can assure you that. If a line had been there, I would want you to cross that line over and over again.” Bette says and rubs her thumb on Tina’s hand.
“Good to know.” Tina replies. “So… you like me huh?” Tina says in with a soft grin.
“Yeah.” Bette replies and smiles.
Tina moves closer, they are almost face to face.
“So you wouldn’t mind if I kissed you again. And this time I won’t back away.” Tina says almost in a whisper. Bette chuckles.
“I wouldn’t mind at all. And I would hold you down if you tried to get up.” Bette says and closes the short distance between them. She presses her lips on Tina’s. Tina moves her hands up and holds each one on Bette’s cheeks.
“This feels so good.” Tina whispers as they continue to kiss.
“Yeah.” Bette replies moments later.
After a few minutes Bette pulls away and looks into Tina’s eyes, smiling. They just knew that moment, that they were meant to be. They had found their soul mate. Neither one dared to say anything, in case they would jinx it. Tina laid down into Bette’s lap, Bette softly running her fingers through Tina’s hair after taking out the hair pin.

I love how these two are taking their time even though they are already wanting to move onto the next stage. I bet Dana had a cow when she realized that Bette’s date was Tina. Post soon.
Awwww so sweet, I’m glad Bette asked Tina about running from the first kiss. Study group….hmmmm I wonder how much work Tina will complete with Bette around??? I hope Bette will distract Tina big time LOL….post soon please :o))

I just read all ten chapters. I’m looking forward to the next chapter. Somehow I don’t think Bette will be able to make it 5 dates. OK I have to ask pancakes and beer? That is one heck of a combo.
