“Hey.” She says and takes a seat.
“Hi.” Tina replies and smiles.
Bette doesn’t say anything, she waits to see if Tina opens up. And after a few minutes in silence Tina speaks up.
“I want this day to be over.” Tina says. “I want this internship to be over.” She adds.
“It’s get better.” Bette says.
“I have school tomorrow, so I won’t be here tomorrow.” Tina says.
“Okay. You know, you don’t have to finish the internship. You are free to quit anytime.” Bette says.
“You want me to quit?” Tina asks a little surprised.
“No, off course not, I’m only saying that if it gets too hard for you. You have the option to stop and go back to school full time.” Bette says and smiles.
“You won’t be mad if I do?” Tina asks.
“No. I’ll be sad that I won’t see you all day, but… You have to do what’s right for you Tina.” Bette says.
“But how would that look like in my résumé?” Tina asks.
“I’ll get Camilla to write up a good recommendation, don’t worry about it.” Bette says.
Tina looks down on her food, after a few moments she looks up and into Bette’s eyes.
“I do miss my friends at school.” Tina says.
“Give it a day or two, it might get clearer to decide after a good night sleep.” Bette says.
“Yeah.” Tina replies and takes a bite off her baguette. “As long as you won’t be mad…” Tina says.
“Tina, I love you, and if you decide to stop this internship, I will support you. I will miss you around here, but I don’t want to see you miserable.” Bette says and gives her a little smile.
“Thank you. I love you Bette.” Tina says softly.
“I love you too.” Bette replies with a smile.
They finish lunch and the workday. A few other apologized to Tina too, but there were still a few who didn’t say anything. Bette walks out of her office and over to Tina.
“Hey, are you ready to go?” Bette asks.
“Yeah.” Tina replies. She gather her purse and put on her jacket. They walk out.
“Do you want to anything tonight?” Bette asks as she takes Tina’s hand in hers.

Weeeeeeee a new chapter! Bette’s culinary skills are about as bad as mine. Mmmmmm spaghetti in a can sounds pretty good right now. lol
i’m starving, anything sounds good right now…well, since tina won’t work there anymore, maybe they’ll have better time together

Bummer, to bad that Tina feels like she needs to quit so that she can be with Bette. I had spaghetti for dinner tonight and not out of the can.

I believe that everyone like spaghetti,but I like to do all the work myself. Maybe Tina and Bette will have more time together. thanks
Yehaa a new chapter to this sweet story :o)) But I think Tina is wrong about quitting the internship, it’s like giving up to the bigots. I hope she changes her mind and Bette is sooo sweet to Tina in this story :o))
