The taxi takes off towards the destination, making it’s way through the calming streets of Oslo. Bette takes Tina’s hand and holds it with both hers. Squeezing it softly. The look into each others eyes and smile.
“I’m so lucky to have found you.” Tina whispers as she lay her head down on Bette’s shoulder. Bette turns slightly, kissing Tina’s temple.
“I’m the lucky one.” Bette whispers back in Tina’s ear.
The taxi stops outside the San Lorenzo pizzeria. Bette pays the man and steps out, holding her hand out for Tina. They make their way inside and is shown to their seats by a young waitress, italian looking. She hands them the menu. Bette tells her that their americans, so the waitress speaks english to them.
“Can I get you something to drink while you decide on what to eat?” The waitress asks.
“T, what do you want? Anything, my treat.” Bette says smiling.
“Maybe some wine?” Tina asks, looking at Bette.
“Sure, why not. A bottle of the house wine.” Bette says, looking at the waitress.
“Good choice mam. Coming right up.” She replies.
The seating is in a booth and is for the most part secluded from the rest of the tables. Almost all the seating is semi private. Bette reaches over and takes Tina’s hand in hers.
“What do you want? That pizza you love?” Bette asks, smiling.
“Well, I do want that, but there’s so much good in here.” Tina says, looking through the menu with one hand. The other being occupied by Bette. “But, it’ll be the last time I’m here, so I think I’ll go with the pizza.” Tina says and chuckles a little as she closes the menu. “What about you?” She asks.
“The last time we were here, I ate the steak thingy. I think I might join you and your pizza, if that’s okay.” Bette says. “But we have t…” Bette says but is interrupted by Tina.
“Off course it’s okay. And yes, we’ll order without the mushrooms.” Tina says and smiles. Bette is allergic to mushrooms, choking if she gets it in her. Bette leans in, Tina does the same and they kiss. Moments later the waitress arrives with the wine.
“Here you go ladies.” She says as she pours Bette’s glass, so she could tast it. Bette does.

wow sorry about the packing & cleaning…I understand about HATING IT!!! Hope your studies went well. This was a sad chappy….PPS
I am already feeling down because they will be seperated for 4 months. I can see maybe a couple of weeks but for 4 months that is a life time. Okay the first month Bette setting up her new apartment and then a new job while Tina is studying. Next couple of months busy with work and school and then the last month wishing it was over already.

HEy Lauren, It was such a pleasant surprise to have you back posting this fantastic fan fiction again. I love the simplicity of Bette and Tina’s relationship here. Yes, they have had many obstacles to challenge they and have risen to each one and overcoming them in their stride. The time apart is worrying both gals but I am sure their relationship will survuve as they are committed to spending as much time as possible together. Please continue this pleasurable adventure.
