It’s Saturday and the Kennard-Porters are expecting guests at 2pm. Bette and Tina had worked on the grocery list the night before and decided Tina would take on that task while Angie and Bette stayed home to do the housework.

Bette’s personal trainer Harrison had come to the house early that morning so she was up showered dressed and had walked and fed the dog. She was starting breakfast by the time Tina strolled into the kitchen still looking a little disheveled having just rolled out of bed. Bette loved the look and feel of Tina first thing in the morning. She wrapped Tina in her arms and gave her a good morning kiss that would jump start anyone’s day.

“My you are the early bird. And so full of energy this early in the morning.”

“Harrison gave me a good workout. It’s still too cold to swim so I have to burn off my energy somehow.“

“Well I’m all for burning off energy. Come here…”

Tina pulls her in again for another smoldering kiss, then her attention is drawn away to what Bette is preparing for breakfast.

“That smells amazing. What are you making?”

“Well you know my cooking skills are limited but I always make Saturday morning breakfast a special treat for Angie. Today we’re having one of her favorites; French toast.”

“Well it looks delicious. Will you make some for me too?”

“Of course. As a matter of fact I was giving more thought to the cooking class you mentioned. I really want to learn how to cook better so I can cook for you and Angie sometimes.”

“Yeah I could stand to brush up on my skills too; maybe learn to make some more exotic meals. We can look into it next week and get enrolled if they have a class starting soon. We’ll need to check if Kit or Alice can keep Angie for us when we go.”

Just as she said that Angie comes strolling into the kitchen looking very much like Tina does when she first wakes up.

“Good morning sweet pea. Did you sleep well?” Tina picks Angie up for a kiss then holds her while Bette pecks her on the cheek.
