The Gathering 01.63 – The Gathering ReDux – Pt. 11

“What are these?”  Tina asked, opening up yet another surprise.  She felt rather giddy and high on something, and she knew just what.  Life and love.  Thing she never thought possible when she’d discovered Bette‘s betrayal.

“Your fantasies.”  Sam said softly, an accent finding its way into her voice.  Alice cast a glance her way, and tore open her envelope.

A few of them didn’t open the envelopes; all that was in it was a silver coin and a card, telling them what room to be in, and at what time.  Shane was the only one that didn’t get one.

“This is scary.”  Tina said, grabbing Sam‘s hand and Sam grinned at her.  She leaned over to Shane and whispered in her ear.

“You didn’t write anything on your paper, that’s why you didn’t get an envelope.

“I know I didn’t.”  Shane said, moving around on the chair, not looking at anyone.  Sam made a face and then explained how things worked.

“When you enter the room, whoever is there explains what is to take place, or starts the scene.  If you agree, you give them that silver coin.  If you don’t, you leave.  Nothing more, nothing less.  No hurt feelings, just your freedom to choose.”  Sam nibbled on a piece of cheese and grabbed a glass of wine.

“I, for one, cannot wait for all of this to start.”  Jenny stated with glee in her voice.

Bette walked to the room and shuffled her feet.  Bette looked at the door, she almost hoped that Tina was behind the door, but she knew she wasn’t.  She was off with Sam on some grand sexual adventure.  Damn, well they’d both moved on, hadn’t they?

She pushed open the door and saw Candace sitting on the leather couch, her feet on the coffee table.  Bette stood at the doorway and looked at her.

“Coming in and staying or coming and going, or coming and coming?”  Asked Candace, chuckling softly.  Bette stepped into the room and closed the door.

“Odd fantasy you got here.”  Bette said, and Candace laughed softly, motioning for her to go to her.

    1. Well fuck me. Just when I started to think the events would turn drastically so that Sam would still get her fantasty with well …Shane, you go and put Tina in the room. Well all I can hope for is that Sam opens her eyes in time to see that Tina isn’t the woman for her.
