    The Gathering 01.78 –  Fallen pt 1 – Pink Alert

     

     

                Marty drove Kit to Sam’s house in the hills Kit was a jumble of nerves as was he.  Sam had never acted that way before around him even when C.J. had passed away.  She’d been cold, calculating and scary in a way that she’d never seen before.  Kit was wringing her hands in her lap as he drove.

     

                “Doesn’t this thing go any faster?”  Kit asked, and Marty gave her an endearing look as she snapped her mouth shut and crossed her arms.  “I’m shutting up.”  Marty reached over and took her hand, holding it he drove.  Kit, the mother hen, he thought to himself; as he looked at her lovingly.

     

                “I’d never tell you to shut up darling.”  He said, and she merely smiled, this was the second Pink moment they’d had in a year, usually they could keep it to once a year, but now twice.  What else was going to happen to them, Kit thought idly.

     

                “I know I’m just worried.  You said you saw Sam and that she was acting weird, weird as in how?  As in ‘I cheated on Shane.’ Or ‘I just lost my job’ weird, there are an array of weirdness you know Marty.”  Marty laughed hardily, and he looked at her.

     

                “More like the ‘I’m pissed don’t ***** with me’ weird.”  He admitted softly to her.

     

                “Ah, officially worried.”  Kit said softly, wiping her mouth as she thought about what lay ahead for them this time around.

                “What in the world is going on now?”  Marina said as she entered Jenny’s apartment.  Jenny grabbed a shirt and pulled it over her head, sighing softly.

     

                “As someone would say, ***** drama.  Something about Sam and Shane.  I didn’t get the details from Tina.  Just to get our arses over to Sam’s house and she used the word arse.  When did Tina become British?”  Jenny sighed softly Marina shoved her hands inside of her pockets.  She was angry at herself for letting Sam use the Planet for whatever she’d done to Shane.

     

                “I best not get my hands on the cute doctor, if she’s hurt Shane in any way…”  Marina muttered as Jenny and she stepped outside and headed for Jenny’s car.

    1. Oh, it’s drama mama!! Shane, oh boy! I know she is losing her mind. Glad they got Fiona. You are killin’ me!! Everybody is on the verge…is someone gonna die?. By the way, thanks for posting all of this at once, I would not be able to take the cliffhangers at this point….Ok, of all the things Candance could be, why nappy headed? Bette take note. May be that Marcus Allenwood thing was deeper than you thought. Sometimes, true feelings come out in the heat of the moment!!

    2. Cat fight anyone? Poor Shane, Sam should get her ass back soon. Well, and Bette had that coming hadn’t she, although I do understand her reaction. I would be pissed as well. Glad Fiona has been nailed, hope we never hear from her again.

    4. one thing i know for sure being half black, that if Tina had said Nappy Headed in the real world Kit, if not Bette, would have been in her face and the arguement would have taken a different turn. That would have not just went over thier heads without saying anything about it seeing how the commet came from a white girl.

    6. Tina’s comment – waaaayyy HARSH. She’s lived with a half black woman for over seven years. Calling Candace ‘nappy headed’ was out of line & disrespectful to Bette, Kit & Marty. Tina deserved a slap as much as Bette did.
