    The final chapter.

    “Eric, you don’t know what it means to truly love someone. What Bette and I have…it’s enough to last a lifetime” Tina looked him straight in the eyes. “Tina please, don’t throw your life away…” Eric started. “I’m not throwing it away, I’m making it worth living. Nothing can hurt me when I’m with her” “I hate to shatter your illusions, but that’s not true” “Well that’s how I feel. I feel safe with her. I love her. That’s all you need to know” Tina put a hand on the door handle. “Come on, Tina…” “I’d like you to leave” Tina opened the door. “Fine it’s your life” Eric walked towards the front door and Tina followed him. “Your right, it is” Tina smiled as she watched Eric walk away. Her smile faded as she noticed Bette’s car was gone. Her heart sank. She had to find her and fast. Grabbing her car keys, she headed to the only place she could think of – Alice’s house. When she reached Alice’s she banged hurriedly on the door. Alice didn’t seem surprised to find her there, and showed her through to the living room. Bette sat on the sofa, her cheeks stained with tears. “I’ll leave you guys to it” Alice left quickly. “Baby” Tina sat next to Bette on the couch and pulled her into an embrace. “T…I…” Bette dissolved into tears. “It’s okay” Tina stroked Bette’s hair “but why did you leave?” “I was scared. I need to know…please…” “What baby? What’s going on? If you think I still love Eric, you’re wrong. I love you” “It’s just….do I satisfy you?” Bette looked Tina in the eyes. “You know you do” “When we make love, do you ever wish you could be with a man? Be honest” “Honestly?” Tina saw Bette nod “You are everything I could ever want or need” “Really?” Bette whispered. “You want more details? Baby, when I come with you it’s the hardest I’ve ever come in my life. Our ***** is incredible” Tina squeezed Bette’s hand “do you believe me?” “Yes” Bette kissed Tina gently “I’m so sorry I doubted you” “It’s okay to be scared, *****, I was petrified at the start of our relationship” Tina forced a smile out of Bette. “True. Come here” Bette pulled Tina down on top of her and they started to kiss passionately. Bette pulled Tina’s top off and slid down under her body to suck on her nipple. Tina moaned loudly. “Hey! HEY!” Alice stormed into the room having heard the moans. “Oh, hey Al” Bette blushed and helped Tina to redress. “Bette, I’m very glad you guys still love each other and everythings cool. Tina, I’m very glad that Bette can give you everything you want. But please can she not give it to you on my sofa!” They both mumbled “sorry”, but all three couldn’t help but smile. Bette and Tina walked hand in hand to the door, and drove home in their seperate cars. They walked into the house together. Their house. Their house that they would share for many years to come. The years of happiness, a life without miscarriages, apalling therapists, and most importantly, carpenters. And their ***** life would never grow *****! THE END

    2. This was a very good story and you are a great writer! If you feel this is the end of this story, then I hope you will write another. I do admire that you stopped when you planned instead of trying to string it along because that could lead to boredom and writer’s block. Again, please give us another story and thanks for this one :)
