George dropped her forehead to the table while Alice smirked at the scene unfolding. Bette couldn’t let her cool demenor fail her, she just smiled and waited for Tina to say something. Tina felt tiny beads of sweat forming on her brow. She swolled hard then finally spoke.

Tina: “Bette, this is my friend Chad. Chad this is Bette.”

Chad: “Nice to meet you” he said to Bette then looked at Tina “You have really beautiful friends” glancing back at Bette “No offence”

Tina: “Yeah” she replied looking at Bette

Bette: “Well, I gotta run. It was nice meeting you…Chad was it? Tina, i’ll see you later”

Bette turned and walked away, Tina watched for a moment then went chasing after her. She couldn’t leave their first meeting after the kiss end this way.

Tina: “Bette wait” she said grabbing her arm.

Bette turned around surprised, her heart immediently started to race. She was scared to hear why TIna stopped her. All she knew is they couldn’t go on like this way. Bette was starting to feel like it was a mistake to walk away.

Tina: “Bette I…”

Bette: “Let’s start over”

Tina: “What?”

Bette: “Let’s start over. Hi im Bette Porter”

Tina: “Uh, Tina Kennard” she played along eventhough she was confused.

Bette: “I have to get going but I would really like to spend some time with you.” she said then pulled a card out of her pocket. “Here is my card, your should stop by my gallary or if you want you can call me some time.”

Tina: “Yeah ok” she smiled as she took the card in her hand.

Bette: “I’ll see you later then?”

Tina: “Definatly”

Bette: “Ok, then. bye” she said then walked away.

Tina smiled and looked at the card again. She put it in her pocket and headed back to the table. She went back to her date and ignored what had happened with Bette which in turn releived George and annoyed Alice. They stayed untill close and everyone went their seperate ways. George stayed to wait for Jen, Alice went home and Tina and Chad left.
