Narration of First Lady Tina Kennard Porter
“No babe – its not from Shane to Carmen. Don’t be angry with her though – she is just trying to protect me “
“I’m not angry honest babe – do I assume that it is from your not so secret admirer ?”
Bette is being very calm which un- nerves me. I gently touch her ear and start stroking it – she moves her head into my touch. I kiss her very softly
“Please take it easy “ I whisper
“Has she ever done this before ? “
“No or I would have told you “
“I know that Tina – I trust you — you do know that don’t you ? “
I nod “ Of course I do – our marriage is based on trust and respect “
“So ? “ she raises her eyebrow at me.
“So what ? “
“What are you going to do about it ? “
“Me ? – you are leaving it to me ?”
Bette nods “ Why wouldn’t I ?”
“I thought your reaction would be to mobilise the 7th division “
“It crossed my mind but you know that I will go over the top – its better that you warn her off. She must be plain stupid to make a play for you “
I know what she means is not the way it as come out
“So – if she is plain stupid – what does it make you for marrying me ? “
She grins “ The luckiest woman on the planet – what I meant was “
“I know what you meant. Okay – I will deal with her – any instructions Madam President ? “
“Not really – what are we going to do about Lucy ? “
“Not sure – it didn’t spoil our night though “
“It was wonderful – god I am so addicted to you “
“Its called love “
“It is “ she kisses my nose “ I am going to have to speak to her about leaving her machine open and using government emails for her love life “
“That will embarrass the life out of her “

I so love this fic!!! Tina should have been more blunt cuz i see this biting her in the ass…cuz Dylan was dumb and what the hell was she thinking?? As for Lucy…Lucy needs a reality check..she’s doing a good job but she really needs to understand her boundaries…And the way Bette handled letting Tina handle Dylan as well as both Tina and Lucy was awesome…can’t wait for more!

I’m glad to see that Tina is not acting like she is in Bette’s shadow. It was good to see her assert herself with both Dylan and Lucy. Yes, Lucy is definitely getting too big for her britches (I said britches, not bitches). And they must be all the tighter for Jodie being all up in them as well. I think it’s pretty clear what Jodie is up to: all the pussy she can get her hands on! A true horn dog needs no further motivation, although she may have some. Can’t wait for you to reveal all, ally. But I suspect it will involve tears for Lucy and Alice, and maybe even Jodie if Bette and/or Tina end up getting invovled.
A date with some sperm? I hope it can carry on a conversation and has decent table manners.

Wow, Lucy has one hell of an attitude. Bette must really love Tina to let Lucy rant at the love of her life so disrespectfully. Interesting that Bette didn’t go all ballistic with Dylan. It seems like she is more calm now after 10 mths of marriage. This chapter reminded me of the possibility of Tina’s ex-lovers coming to “haunt” their relationship in earlier chapters. anyway, a jealous bette is always quite hot. Can’t wait for your next update on this story…hurry! Please don’t make us wait for another week before you post again. It’s agonizing.
Really great chapter – poor Tina so often between a rock and a hard place but then she is also so often between the sheets with the sexist woman on the planet – lucky woman. Great great great writing

Well Ally, More brillliance as Tina and Bette prove that love is timeless. Their’s just gets stronger as time passes. Great to have Tina in Aplha mode as she deals with Dylan and then the trickier situation with Lucy. I do feel like slapping Lucy about the head with a 2 by 4 but that would only be personal satisfaction and not resolve the current deception. Sometimes you have to let siblings make their own mistakes and just be there to support and nurture them when it all goes to hell. Do have a feeling that Lucy is in deeper than Jodie and heading for a fall. Can’t hardly wait to see where this all leads. Many thanks for this entertaining and intriguing tale. Your Loyal Fan.

Lucy 19 so legally she is an adult but mentally she needs to learn that hurting people the way she is doing with Alice isn’t the way to show she really an adult. But on the other hand who of us is an adult when it comes to lust and desire. Loved this chapter a lot.
