    Chapter 262

    Narration of First Lady Tina Kennard-Porter

     

     

     

    “How do you think she is doing ?” Bette is lying beside me in bed. Its only 5am but neither of us have slept that well. I have been awake for an hour – Bette’s been awake longer

     

    “I think she is probably sleeping. They will have given her something to knock her out and she said it herself that she needs rest and lots of it “

     

    Bette kisses my hand

     

    “I don’t think I stop to consider how utterly blessed I am “

     

     

    “We have both said that more than once since she left “

     

     

    “Well its true – we should really count our blessings and when I do – when I look at you – so beautiful and intelligent and so full of passion and love. Then I think about Ella who has so much in front of her – she can be anyone she wants to be. She is only limited by her own personality “

     

     

    “5am is a little early for discussions about Ella taking over the world “

     

     

    “Its never to early for that “ Bette kisses me “Thank you “

    10. Even Emma has finally succumbed to the fact that Bette is best for Tina and Tina for Bette. Let them fool around a little while AllyE they need it and deserve it. Loved the update. Post when you can.

    12. I was traumatized too when I discovered my parent’s Sunday afternoon ‘naps’ weren’t really naps at all :)~. Love the L Wing, and I am already concerned because Bette is well into her second term. I never want you to finish this :)
