    Tina tells all

     

     

    What’s happening now Tina ?

     

    Emily gets one of the snipers – I am trying to drag her to safety.

     

     

    What are you feeling ?

     

     

    That I am going to die – I know it – I want to throw up but I am too scared even for that – I have to live – I have to save both of us.

     

    What can you hear and see ?

     

    Shots – they are so loud — going off on all sides — FUCK – Emily’s gun has stuck – she is screaming at me to run – no Emily – no I will not leave you alone — you are coming with me .

     

     

    She screams

     

     

    There is a gunman running towards us — I kill him – oh my god I kill him – he just falls to the ground.

     

     

    She goes quiet — tears still trickling down her face.

    What is happening now Tina ?

     

     

    Nothing – silence – sudden silence – wait – there is a jeep coming towards us – I go to Emily to tell her that she is going to be alright – see how her leg is — see if I can wrap something round it.

     

    And what ?

     

     

    She is staring up at me

     

     

    Tina’s sobs increase.

     

     

    She is dead

     

     

    She manages to say between huge sobs.

     

     

    Who killed her ?

     

    Me — I did – she tried to get up and I did not see her – I missed the gunman the first time — and I killed her — oh Emily I am so sorry.

     

     

    She lets out a scream of the rawest pain I have ever heard.

     

    I can barely see her for my own silent tears.

     

     

    She cries out again – huge gut churning sobs – her soul totally exposed.

     

    Can I hold her ?

     

    Tina — I am slowly going to bring you back to today – you will be able to remember and speak about what you have talked about just now.

     

    Very slowly –over maybe the next ten minutes Dr Gage brings Tina back to the present day.

    She indicates that I should sit in the seat that she has been – and she moves across the room – so the only face Tina will see will be mine.

     

    Finally Tina opens her eyes and looks at me.

     

    Hey Tina honey

     

    I manage to say through my tears.

     

    Hey babe – I love you so much Bette Porter.

I hope this story never ends. 2ndly, could you clarify this part (Am abit dense)…”No – I love her more – because I realise what she has brought to my life – so in time I will be able to forgive both of them – but at the moment if Emily was not already dead I would strangle her.”…um was Bette refering to Tina or Emily when she said “I would strangle her”

You’ve had us, lusting, drooling, stressing, laughing, and with this one, most definitly crying. I would say the goal is being met. Fantastic. This story hooked us from the begining, and it just keeps getting better. Hats off to Bette, for standing by Tina, even after finding out the truth. With Bette by her side Tina will move forward, but I still believe she needs to really know who Emily was, they have so much ahead of them, secrets should not be part of it. You keep it coming, and will keep reading.

You bring out all the love that Bette has for Tina and at the same time show us her pain. I think this chapter really shows that true love can conquer any obstacles.     40. This is a hard one. You want to be mad at Tina for hurting Bette by sleeping with Emily. But then you hear her side of the story and begin to understand what was happening. Emily brought a lot of that on herself. Not that Tina didn’t help the matter. Bette has got to be torn in to. She loves Tina deeply and at one point loved Emily. As you mentioned in earlier chapter that by holding it in Bette is not helping herself or Tina. Maybe during her summer break she will be able tosit down and talk to Tina about Emily. Great chapter to a heart wrenching story.

I just got home from holidays in the warm warm north (ie im a southern hemisphere girlie) and it was fantastic to come home and find answers to a few Lost questions (wednesdays episode) and puzzles in this :D fantastic! (also the 3 CDs worth of LW stuff my mate gave me :D….and the tapes…tehehe)

    46. Sooooooooooo nicely done, and well put together. There is no way that Bette should tell Tina that Emily was her ex at this time, Tina is still too frigle mentally. Tina needs time to mentally healand gain er footing. She does need to know but much, much later because it was not anything that was intentionally mean spirited by either parties, and Bette learn some inportant information. Bette needs to assure Tina that she is indeed commited to her and their future together. Bette is so right, the situation had alot to do with Emily cheating on her and she should not let the past ruin what appears to be a bright future fot her and Tina. Please continue :o)
