The Language Of Love Ch 5: Long Lost Love
Chapter 5
Prologue
The two brown bodies lay melting into each other, careesing one another as they tried hard to control the pounding of their hearts. The moonlight flowed in through the curtains and cast a beautiful glow over the two naked figures tangled up in each other’s limbs. While they lay like this it felt like time just stopped…
"Marry me" Papi whispered as she stared back at Carmen’s beautiful brown body. Carmen eyes fluttered open, not quite believing what she’d just heard.
"What" she asked a little dazed and still tired from their previous sexual encounter. Carmen lifted up her body resting on one of her elbows. Papi climbed on top of Carmen, their skin touching and building up its own heat.
"Marry me" Papi repeated. She never broke contact with the other woman’s eyes, looking deep in them trying to search for the answer before Carmen had a chance to respond.
"Papi" Carmen said her head surrounded by doubt and the uncertainty of Papi’s seriousness.
"I know I’ve fucked up in the past Carmen but…"She snatched the necklace from around her neck, on it hung the ring her father had given her mother when they had gotten married years ago. "I want to spend the rest of our lives making it up to you".
"Papi what the hell are you doing here" Kevyn pushed Papi a little as she spoke, the Latina just laughed it off as if it were a joke.
"You’re Papi" Alice asked from her position behind Kevyn.
"That’s me baby" Papi replied pushing Kevyn aside in an attempt to personally introduce herself to Alice.
"Yeah okay you gotta leave Papi" Kevyn placed her arm in between Alice and Papi, blocking her from moving any closer in the blonde’s direction. "If Carmen sees you…".
"Wait a minute Carmen…" Papi started looking around in an attempt to find Carmen,"where is she I want to talk to her".
"I thought Carmen said she didn’t know Papi" Alice added with much confusion. The other two women heard Alice but failed to acknowledge her for obvious reasons.
"Don’t do this Papi…" Kevyn begged and it reminded them both of a conversation they’d had a couple of years ago.
"Don’t do this to Carmen, Papi…" Kevyn starred back into her best friend’s face filled with fear and doubt, two things the woman never showed. "It’ll break her fucking heart".

A bow, huh? Is it cool if I fall over in the middle of it? I’m not good with balance. Anyway, the corn comment almost made me hurl along with Bette…not that it’s a bad thing, I’ve just got the flu and feel icky. But don’t mind my rambling, the story is good!
Nice twist having Papi be the one to run out on Carmen. I must admit the last sentence bothers me…it means Carmen still has feelings for Papi. Bette throwing up on Kevyn’s shoes was very funny. PPS!
Papi and Carmen? Oh no…please don’t do this. They don’t fit together.
