THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD CHAPTER 14

Tina took hold of Bette and pulled her into her arms.
“Its going to be alright — you and I are going to live together while you are pregnant and laid up and I am going to take care of you and him and for once Porter you are going to do what I tell you “

Tina eased away and smiled at Bette.
“I was so scared “
“Me too “
Tina softly stroked the hair from Bette’s face and placed the most tender of kisses on the perfect lips. Bette held onto her face and they smiled with devotion at each other.
“No London birth “
“I’ll have to phone my business partner and talk to him . I guess I can work from the hotel “
“What ? Did you not just hear me Porter — you are going to move all your stuff to our house and we are going to live as a family for as long as it takes. Then after he’s born – well I’ll move to England with you “
“Really ? “
“A couple of nights ago when we were making love I told you that I belonged to you and I had for ten years and that hadn’t changed as far as I was concerned. We can make each other happy “
“Its not weird – moving back in with my ex wife ?“
“A piece of paper might say that I’m not Tina Kennard-Porter any
more but my heart tells me that I am. “
Tina saw Bette’s eyes fill with tears
“I still think of you as my wife – I missed you so much “

Tina took hold of Bette again and they held onto each other for as long as they both needed the love and reassurance of their partner.
A gentle tap on the door finally ended their embrace.
“It’ll be the others – they are all worried sick. Alice and Lara couldn’t come in here

Glad that the baby and Bette are okay and that Tina and Bette have found their way back to each other where they belong. But knowing you I am sure we are all in for more drama before to much time passes. I can also see the way being made for your great humor. tHAT WAS AMAZING For awhile though that Bette or the baby was not going to make it. They might go to Londan but will never stay,as both of their hearts are in LA as well as all the people they love. thanks for posting today
