    Lara visits Tonya while Alice heads to work. Bette and Tina discuss random items. Eduardo and Gene hang out at a bar with a couple of other notable characters. Helena looks on as Carmen DJ’s for The Planet crowd, including Dax and Leigh. Life happens at Midnight in the form of a song.

    She wasn’t planning on being there, but here she is at KCRW.  Alice was looking to spend a nice evening doing other things, but thanks to someone calling in sick, here she is.  That’s the way radio works, sometimes.  If you got plans, be prepared to drop them at a moment’s notice or prepare to face the wrath of the Gods who pay or supervise you.  But she’s determined not to sulk about it.  She’s bummed on one hand, but hopeful that Lara will make the most of the evening as she makes a visit to a familiar place without her.  And hopefully, she’ll be okay.

    Lara stands at the door, having rang the doorbell.  She feels a sense of nervousness being there, remembering everything from the past.  To her, it’s always Dana’s house.  Tonya opens the door and smiles.

    Tonya: Hey, you made it!

    Lara gives a courteous grin as Tonya steps back to let Lara in.  Lara walks into the house and looks around.  She swallows her nerves and fears and looks at the new caretaker of the house.

    Lara: I like what you’ve done with the place.

    Tonya: Thanks!  It was a little crazy there getting everything moved in.  It was amazing, Dana’s stuff had already been moved out by her parents by the time I got here.  And it’s felt a little weird being here…but it’s not so bad.  Have a seat!

    Lara walks over to the couch and sits at one end while Tonya sits at the other.

    Tonya: Alice have to work?

    Lara: Yeah, they called her in earlier this afternoon.  It’s supposed to be her night off, but…she told me to come over and keep you company.

    Tonya: To be honest, I wasn’t sure if you’d be comfortable coming over here or not.

    Lara: It’s fine.

    Tonya: You know something?  I think this is the first time you and I ever had a one on one conversation.

    Lara: Had to happen eventually, right?

    Both share a laugh.

    Tonya: I used to live here, but that’s when me and Dana were living together here.  I have to admit, it felt kind of empty when I first walked in here.  I also wasn’t sure if anyone would be happy with it, considering how me and Dana split…

    1. Helena and Tonya that is an interesting pairing. I kind of like the idea. I actually feel for Helena (as long as she leaves Bette and Tina alone) and hope that she finds someone for her. Not sure whay the guys are in there, but I hope that they do not mess with the girls. Kid Rock is good and this song is one of his best. Great update and can’t wait to see what comes next.

    2. Great update. I do think Eduardo is in the closet. Poor Helena she seems so lonely, hopefully that will change soon. Mark may not get all positive reactions from Shane, Carmen & Jenny. regarding his film.
