    Lara and Carmen talk about what went down the previous evening; Alice talks with Gabby for a moment; Gabby, Dax, Uta and Leigh together and this time…it isn’t sleeping.

    Lara: Thanks…I think.

    Carmen: It’s a compliment, Lara.  But…you need to know this.  I mean you seriously can’t be that detached, can you?

    Lara: What do you mean?

    Carmen: You’re so into Alice that you’ve never even noticed the other people looking at you?  I mean, not to brag but…I notice people staring at my ass all the time.  It’s a compliment, but still…you never know who’s gonna try something.

    Lara: LIke you did…

    Carmen: …Yeah.  Like I did.  Look, you’ve….you’ve got something special with Al.  You do.  And I really want me and Shane to have that, too.  But I’m afraid that one of us is gonna go off the deep end if we’re not careful.

    Lara: You have friends.  Both of you do.

    Carmen looks down for a second before looking back up at Lara, almost full of sorrow.

    Carmen: Can you forgive me?

    Lara nods.

    Lara: Yes.  But you just can’t go doing stuff like that…

    Carmen: Thank you…

    As Lara and Carmen talk in the restroom, Alice and Gabby are interrupted by Dax.  Dax sees Alice and waves.

    Dax: Hi.

    She then focuses on Gabby.

    Dax: You okay?

    Gabby: Yeah, I’m fine.  Are they waiting for me?

    Dax: Yeah we are.

    Dax smiles.  Gabby smiles for a second and then stands up from the table.

    Gabby: Well, Alice I guess I’m going upstairs now.

    Alice smirks.

    Alice: Have fun.

    Gabby chuckles for a second as she walks away with Dax.  Alice sips on her drink as heads over to Shane’s table nearby.

    Alice: Hey, you.

    Shane: What’s up…

    Alice: Oh, just enjoying the ride.  You?

    Shane: Something like that.

    Shane keeps looking towards the restroom.

    Alice: What?

    Shane: Wondering what’s taking Carmen so long.

    Alice: Where is she?

    Shane: Bathroom.

    Alice: Oh.

    The reality then hits Alice.

    Alice: Ohhhh….okay.  Lara’s in there.

    Shane raises an eyebrow.

    Shane: And?

    Alice: They’re probably talking.  Lara said she and Carmen had an argument last night.

    Shane: ‘Bout what…?

    Alice: I dunno…I think Lara’s concerned that you and Carmen may be having problems.

    Shane: Ehhh…we’re workin’ it out.  I’ll be right back.

    Alice: Uhh…okay.  

    Shane leaves, heading for the restroom, which still has Lara and Carmen in it.  Carmen is almost in tears more out of relief than sorrow as she and Lara talk out their issues.  Lara pulls Carmen in and the two embrace.

    1. I liked the talk between Carmen and Lara. It seems like they are going to be good friends.Shane still semmed a little bit distracted from last night I hope she and Carmen will work everything out.Nice update, Kace!

    5. Hope Helena stays out of it, & lets Carmen & Lara decide whether or not to tell their partners. That foursome, although HOT, will bring nothing but trouble. Cool update.
