“T was the real reason that you went home because of our conversation at the planet” Alice asked

“Sort of when I left I kept thinking about what you said and agreed with you, but then a song came on the radio that made me think of Bette, I found myself crying so I pulled the car over, sat there until I composed myself and wanted to be in close contact with Bette so I came home to our daughter”

“What are you going to do about Bette?”

“Nothing at the moment Al I need to concentrate on Angelica getting better first”

“Well for what’s its worth I think that Bette still loves you”

“Al since when did you become Yoda’s apprentice” laughing softly, grateful for a bit of release, but at the same time feeling guilty that she was laughing when her daughter was in hospital.

Tina suddenly got up turning to Alice she said “I’m sorry Al, but I think that I need to be on my own for a few minutes”

“Tina that’s fine where are you going so we know where to find you?”

“I’m just going to stay here for a bit, I’ll come in soon” Tina walked over to Alice and gave her a hug. “Thanks for being such a great friend Al”.

Tina sat back down on the wall lost in her own thoughts telling herself that everything was going to be fine the doctors were doing everything possible she was getting the best care.

She looked up to the pale blue sky, silently she thought I don’t know if there really is a god but if there is then please don’t take my baby away, I need her more than the air that I breath, if this is punishment for letting Bette go then it’s not fair, don’t punish my baby girl, I promise that if you make my angel better again, then I will get Bette back and never let go of our family again. Feeling slightly better she walked back into the hospital.

Bette had finally landed she ran to her car getting in she sped out of the car park, once on the streets she pushed her foot down not caring how fast she was going, she kept weaving in and out of traffic. All she wanted was to get to the hospital, Tina’s voice entered her head, slow down Bette we need you in one piece. She eased her foot of the gas slightly, it struck her as odd that it was Tina’s voice she herd and not her own, but then again maybe not Tina was always with her in some form or another even when there apart.
