Alice draped a leg over Shane and brought herself in close. She cupped Shane’s face and turned her head towards her.

Alice: “Don’t be afraid…I’ll go slow….and you can stop at anytime…anytime.”

Shane’s eyes began to water, so she closed them tight and nodded. Alice kissed her forehead.

Alice: “Shhhhh…I’ll take care of you tonight.”

Alice whispered into her ear…which she continued to do all night. She kissed Shane on the cheek, then the chin and finally on the lips. Shane didn’t kiss back at first, but she slowly came to life when Alice placed her hand over her heart. Alice rubbed the spot that no one had ever taken the time to get to know and continued to lay beside Shane kissing her. She was in complete control of her own body and wanted to make it clear to Shane that she could show restraint and be patient with her. She didn’t want to push her to a place she wasn’t ready to go. Shane began to feel comfortable with the idea of being with Alice, and she turned her body onto her side to face Alice. They continued their slow kissing, getting to know each other through their tongues. Shane put one arm under her head and pulled away from Alice. Alice looked at Shane and ran a hand down her side, tracing up and down the length of her body. She knew Shane had something to say, but she waited for her to ask in her own time.

Shane: “Is this real?…”

Alice gave Shane a questioning look.

Alice: “Right now it is….but another day, another lifetime and it could just be a dream.”

Shane: ” I mean right now…my …sometimes …my mind plays evil tricks on me…”

Alice took Shane’s hand and held it to her chest.

Alice:” You feel that?…(Shane nodded) …things are as real as you want them to be…just…tell me what you want Shane and I’ll give it to you…I’ll do it to you… for you”

Shane: “Make me whole Al…I don’t want to be empty anymore…”

Alice pulled Shane in and kissed her as she wrapped her arms and legs around her. She pulled out of the kiss and saw that at any moment Shane would start to cry. She brought her lips to her ear and whispered.
