    Chapter 47

    Shane seemed unphased by Alices appearance at breakfast. Everyone sat waiting to see how things would play out between the two. A beeping noise broke the stare-down between Dash, Shane and Alice instantaneously. Shane groaned and rolled her eyes.

    Shane: Thank God!

    She lugged her arm up, letting it crash on the table with a loud thud. Bette and Tina cringed from the impact.

    Tina: Hey you got the new cast….surgery must have gone well then?

    Shane: Yeah, I cant feel every little move with this one either.

    Bette: Uhm…didnt he go a little…

    Shane: Overboard? Yeah, thats Van…still being an *****……man cant let anything go.

    Jenny covered her mouth and laughed.

    Marina: Is that the latest chatoure Shane?

    Marina pointed to Shane’s new fashion accessory that was beeping non-stop. She tapped it and pushed a bunch of buttons, but it continued to beep. Dash became impatient and finally turned it off herself. She turned in Shane’s lap and fished through the pockets of her jean jacket, until she came up with six pill bottles. She lined them up on the table and started opening them one by one, spilling out the right dosages.

    Shane: You like that? It was her idea.

    Shane rocked her hips so Dash moved in her lap. She smiled and nudged Shane with her elbow. Alice watched the two and cocked an eyebrow at their open playfulness.

    Marina: What do my two heartthrobs want for breakfast?

    Dash: Well both have the usual.

    Shane nodded. Dash turned around to look at her.

    1. SO GREAT. Can hardly wait for my next fix. And Shane go to see THE doctor. I just hope she will not end up with AIDS. Anything else but not this one. Alice really start to regret her action. I don’t feel Shane is ready to give her another chance though, at least not now. Go write my next fix ~wink~
