Bette could see the anger rising in Tina and became worried that she might over react. Tina rose to leave, and saw that Bette wasn’t going to stop her. Her anger immediately boiled over.

Tina: Well I guess I’ll just leave you two peas in a pod,you can keep your private relationship just the way you like it,wouldn’t want to make things difficult on Shane.

Tina turned to leave and Bette jumped up to go after her. Shane lowered her head for a moment but was startled when Alice put her arm around her waist for support. Shane turned to Alice and smiled. Alice always had, and always would be her rock. She was utterly surprised that Alice hadn’t been the first to flip out and storm out the door. Alice opted to take the high road, knowing that flipping out on Shane and Bette would just cause Shane to run again and this time she might not be able to get her back.

Dana: I’m sorry but you can’t just show up and everything will be A.O.K, it doesn’t work like that,

Dana’s eyes began to glaze over, and Shane realized there was more there then just anger. She knew that deep down Dana was a true friend even though on the outside she ridiculed her about everything. Dana’s anger was hiding the fact that she loved Shane and hated that Shane could just pretend like she hadn’t tried to kill herself and leave them all behind. They were both in the same situation,this was the only family they had and Shane was willing to throw that all away like it was nothing. Dana grabbed Lara by the hand and pushed past Jenny, practically knocking her on the floor.

Shane: Dana wait! I’m not trying to be funny,.just stay and talk or yell at me if you have to but don’t just leave.

Dana: I’m just following your lead Shane, this was completely low Al, even for you.

Dana stormed off, dragging Lara with her. Lara turned and mouthed sorry to the girls as she was pulled out the door. Jenny finished her drink and collected her things to go.

Jenny: It was good to see you since I never see you at the house Shane,really, but I have to go meet up with Marina at the Planet,she said she was going to be totally swamped tonight.
