Tina: (looking up as
Cindy walked in to her office and was pointing at her watch) “Bette, I’m really
sorry but I have to go. Apparently I am supposed to be somewhere because my
assistant is standing in front of me pointing at her watch.”
Bette: “That’s okay I understand. Go do what you have to do, but promise me we
are still on for Friday night.”
Tina: (smiling) “I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I really have to go before
Cindy pulls me out of here by my arm.”
Bette: “Go. I’ll talk to you later in the week and I will see you Friday.”
Tina: “Bye.”
Bette: “Bye.”
Bette hung up the phone and immediately started making plans for Wednesday. By
the time the end of the workday came around, Bette knew what she wanted to send
to Tina and she set out on a mission to find it.
As Bette made her way in to the gallery on Wednesday morning, she made a stop
at Jonathan’s desk to drop off Tina’s gift for the day. She was just getting
ready to leave him a note asking him to deliver it when he walked in.
Jonathan: “Good morning.”
Bette: (smiling) “Good morning. I was just getting ready to leave you a note. I
have a meeting this morning but I need you to deliver this”
Jonathan: (seeing the wrapped package on his desk interrupted Bette) “To Ms.
Tina Kennard at Alphaville studios.”
Bette: (laughing) “Yes.”
Jonathan: (really looking at his boss and realizing that she seems really
happy) “No problemI am on the list now.”
Bette: (confused) “List?”
Jonathan: (laughing) “The list to get in so I don’t have to resort to drastic
measures like crashing the gate and possibly getting hauled off to jail. All it
takes now is to say the magic words ‘I have a delivery for Ms. Tina Kennard
from Bette Porter’ and they let me in.”
Bette: (heading back to her office) “Okay, well I’m off to my meeting in about
20 minutes but please make sure that gets delivered this morning.”
Jonathan stood there and watched as Bette walked to her office and thought
‘Tina Kennard must really be something because I’ve never seen Bette Porter in
love before.”
He picked up the package and headed out to make his delivery. When he arrived
at the gate he just told the security guard “I have a delivery for Tina Kennard
from Bette Porter” and he was waived through the gate.

You know, I especially enjoyed all these so cute comings and goings between the Bette Porter Gallery and the Alphaville studios ! Well, at first I thought that something could finally happened between the so busy messengers Jonathan and Cindy, but it seems that the so obviously disturbed Cindy could prefer the sooo “able to turn any straight woman’s head” gallery’s owner, hmm ? (*amused wink !*)
Our two lovebirds are so lovely here, with their respective fears… Especially our dear Bette, always so deeply irresistible when she’s feeling insecure ! Each time I’m melting – and I wonder how Tina can resist to run into the gallery… What a bravery !
