    Tina & Bette….After Bette’s Painful Decision
    (A B&T Beginning Set on a College Campus)

    Previously..

    When Bette finally looked up, there were tears standing in her eyes and she struggled to verbalize her feelings. Bette moved and grabbed her back pack and as she started packing her books and notebooks for the day, she spoke again. Tina, I love you. Im in love with you. But, Im in this relationship with Sidney. And youre in a relationship with Eric. I cant do this. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about how crushed Sidney would be if she found out about us.

    Tina was quiet and pensive as she tried to process what Bette was saying.

    Bette grabbed her car keys and walked over to Tina. Tina saw the tears on her cheeks and felt her heart breaking. Bette placed the keys on Tinas desk. Look T, neither one of us has any idea of how we are going to get out of this situation. But I dont like where we are headed right now. Here are the keys to my car. Make sure you take the alarm off when you get in and put it back on when you get out. I know you just asked to use it to pick up Eric, but I want you to use it for anything you need. Take Eric somewhere nice, find out what you really want T. Im going to disappear this weekend and spend some time with Sidney. Ill let you and Eric have some privacy.

    Now there were tears on Tinas cheeks. Bette, dont do this. I understand what you are trying to do, but dont disappear on me. We can figure this out. It doesnt have to be so drastic right now. How am I going to go through the weekend without seeing you?

    Bette wiped the tears from Tinas face and struggled to keep her composure. Tina, baby please dont cry. I have to do this. Just trust me. We dont know what we are going to do right now. There is no sense in torturing ourselves while we figure it out. I know I cant take seeing you with him anymore than I know you want to see me walking around with Sidney.

    Tinas sad brown eyes pleaded with Bette to change her mind. Bette, please dont do this. I love you, you love me. We can figure this out. We can do it right now. Lets not waste time with other people. Why are you doing this?
