“Love you, see you soon.”
The lovers exchanged telephone kisses before Bette jumped in the shower, washed as quickly as humanly possible, and made herself something to eat. Exactly 30 minutes from the end of their last telephone kiss, she was ringing her girlfriend’s cell phone.
“You made it,” said Tina with a smile.
“Yes I did. I’m all fed, showered, and clean,” Bette replied.
“Good. I took a shower, too.”
“Damn.” Bette replied.
“What? What’s wrong?” asked Tina, surprised at the flitter of anger in her lover’s voice.
“I wasn’t there…..for your shower.”
Tina smiled again. “You will be. But now it’s time to get some rest. Are you in bed?”
“Yup. All snug as a bug.”
Tina lowered her voice, its tone came out a little sultrier than it had before. “Let me hold you.”
Bette shivered and whispered huskily, “Shit…..T. You have no idea what the sound of your voice is doing to me.”
“I think I have an idea. Your voice does the same to me,” Tina replied.
Under the crimson covers on the 22nd floor in her bedroom in New York, Bette was lying on her side in her darkened room. As her girlfriend spoke, a montage of the year’s sexual escapades with Tina flashed across Bette’s mind. She felt her sex grow swollen as the images came faster and faster.
“T, are you still alone?” she asked.
“We’re not going there, Bette,” Tina replied.
“What are you talking about?”
“You know what I’m talking about. I hear it in your voice. You’re horny.”
“You’re right. I am. And my girlfriend is all the way on the other side of the country. You’re alone. I’m alone. What do you say?” asked Bette.
“No.”
“T…please. Your voice is driving me crazy.”
“Babe, I love you. And I love to hear you moan and whimper. But right now, I’d love to hear you get some sleep.”
“You’re such a tease. You and your sexy voice,” Bette replied.
“And it’ll be even sexier when you can feel me and hear me.”
Bette sighed. “I miss you.”
“I know. Come on. Let me hold you. Are you on your side?”
“I am. How did you know?”
“I know you too well, Bette. Do you feel me sliding in bed next to you? Do you feel my arms around you?” asked Tina, snuggling into her own bed and lying on her side, imaging her lover in her arms.
“I do,” Bette whispered.
“I love you. Let’s get some rest, okay?”
“Okay.”
It wasn’t long before Bette’s breathing deepened and evened out. Tina let her girlfriend sleep for nearly half an hour before she gently woke her and whispered a loving goodnight before ending their call. She spent that thirty minutes thinking of Bette and envisioning all the things they would do when the spunky woman she loved was within arms reach.

their phone call was so cute (for lack of the right word), so full of longing and emotions…maybe you should skip ahead 2 weeks and let them see each other already
couldn’t agree more bntforever! i so miss this story between your posts but at least you do nice long chapters – kinda makes up for it, loved the phonecall between the two you can just feel how much they’re missing each other. pps and get bette on that plane sooner!!

Dearest MTS, if there was one word to describe this update of yours, we would say: “enchanting”. The interaction between Bette and her mom, plus David, was a relief. It seems Bette is finally accepting him as her mom’s partner. B&T’s phone conversation was endearing. The intensity of their feelings just jump at your face and you can’t help but smile wide and give a deep sigh of contentment. This update was amazing MTS! We loved it! As for Eric, Jeeezz! Could you keep him in check, so as not to bother T, while Bette is not near? We would hate that he feels entitled to go and see his ex g/f and invite her to dinner, for good old times sake, because, as far as we can see, he would like to ask T to be with him again. Plus, while Tina does not acknowledge her relationship with Bette, Eric will not give up. Hmmm Interesting turn of events. Thanks for sharing this fantastic story with us. HEY MTS, And that is exactly what I am “more than safitised” with this latest adventure in the lives of Baby B and T. Good to know that Bette is begginning to open up to her mom and step-father. The little hug for David was such a sweet sign that Bette is slowly letting her guard down. Yes, this is mainly due to Tina’s influence on her life. And Tina, was shocked and stunned to catch up with Eric once more. There was a lot of hurt there from the past and her fears over being outed are real if a little exaggerated. Tina needs to sort things out with Eric. OK, it seems like Eric is ready to try again and Tina needs to set him straight on her lack of availability. Good to have Tina trust Bette with her encounter with Eric. It is this level of openness between these gals that will see them through the toughest of times. Communication is key particularly when they are 3000 miles apart. There was geniune love and understanding throughout their phone call as they both managed to update each other on the recent events that surround them. Wonderful to read that Bette is planning a visit; Tina get here ASAP was adorable. I do hope that Bette can make the journey sooner rather than later. Tina was so precious in protecting her lover and know that she wasn’t taking care of herself. The whole go get washed and fed and i’ll be here waiting for you was so sentimental. The their final phone call was awesome. Typical of Bette, the hound dog, to want some phone sex and Tina to offer love and comfort in its place. Wow, two posts in one month. Awesome! Now this is the Baby Bette and Tiny Tina that I know and have come to love. When they are cocooned in their room, in their own little world, one can really sense the intensity, depth and purity of their love for one another. It’s when they step out into the world as individuals that doubt and trials start creeping in. But it’s also impossible for them to be together all the time. I really hope their love will see them through. But again, they have a long way to go. They’re still months away from their sophomore year! Oh dear.
