“Um ok,” Shane gave in. It was obviously very important or Bette wouldn’t have asked. “Let me just tell Carmen.”
“Thanks Shane.”
A few moments later, Shane and a slightly disheveled Carmen came out.
“I’m really sorry to have interrupted.” Bette apologized, embarrassed.
“It’s ok.” Carmen offered smiling.
“She’s in the baby room.” Bette informed them. “I know you’ll both take good care of her.”
With that spoken, the broken brunette hurried to her Saab, got in and quickly drove away, before she lost all emotional control.
Both Carmen and Shane looked back slightly puzzled before heading into the house to check on the baby.

“How long has it been?”
“Over two hours.” Shane replied nervously, pacing back and forth in the living room of Bette and Tina’s house.
“What time is it?” Carmen asked as she cuddled Angelica.
“It’s almost freaking
“Relax, Tina should be coming home any minute now.”
“Yeah and what the fuck am I supposed to tell her!?” Shane threw her hands in the air. “Gee Tina, your wife said she had to run an errand, which should have taken only a few minutes, but instead she’s been gone for hours!”
Carmen tried to calm her girlfriend down, but as more time past, even she was getting seriously worried that something was terribly wrong.
“Can we call her on her cell phone? You have her number, right?”
Suddenly hopeful, Shane looked up at her lover. “Yes, yes I do.” Digging into her pockets, she quickly retrieved her phone and flipping it open dialed Bette’s cell phone.
After the fourth ring, Shane sighed in frustration. “She’s not answering.”
Carmen’s brow furrowed. “Do you hear something?”
“Hear what?”
Equally puzzled, Shane followed Carmen into the kitchen now noticing the unmistakable sound as they approached.
With a sinking feeling, both women stared at the ringing Motorola that was lying by itself on the kitchen table.

Tina felt good. All in all it had been a memorable evening and she hadn’t felt like that in awhile.

damn bette i always said she was the girl on the show and fan fiction. i hated it had to come down to this but she deserves better than tina. when betewas the only one working she did’nt complain about money. my girl bette needs to get her confidence back then come to tina and angelica dont have heraway to long.
Wow! Now that was something else. Great, heartfelt letter from Bette. I was waiting for Tina to say “what have I done?” but of course this seasons Tina would never admit to any wrong doing. I hope you continue with this.

That was heartbreaking, as is the show this season…wait, as was the show last season as well! I hope you do continue this. Will Tina be truly upset, or will she just be pissed that Bette left her will all the responsibility? With the way she is acting, I think she will find a way to be the victim in this situation as well. Please continue. Thanks!

I think Bette should have left Tina but not Angelica…she need to be there for her daughter and not let Tina win…Bette screwed up, yes but she diserves to be in Angelica’s life there for she should fight for her. Great chapter, post soon.
i hate my life….Bette by far is my favorite…and in the first season i liked tina … second season bette still my fav..tina ehh ok… third season bette by far is breaking my heart and i lvoe her to death and tina is a bitch and i hate her for being alive the only reson i still have any feeling twoard her at all is becasue bette still loves her and i want bette happy so tina better get her ass in line and get with the prgram!!!!!i love this story lol its soooo sad i love bette tina well yeah….
superbly written, my heart completely broke for bette. i know alot of people have been very open about abandoning the couple as the show seems to have but i have a lot more faith in the wonderful fanfic writers here to tell a better story, so please do continue.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it Tina! You did an amazing job with this chapter, Scarletred. I think that you should continue with this story but even if you don’t, I feel satisfied that through you, Tina knows the hell that she put Bette through.

Great writing. Fantastic. Man I hope the man storyline doesn’t happen on the show, but as I saw on tonight’s trailers it seems that it will. If it does go down like this I hope gets to have her say on the show too. I’m glad you gave Bette her say-so, maybe now Tina will realize she does love Bette so much and needs her too. I’m glad Bette left and did not sleep with anyone else. Keep writing.

great chapter. Bette has done the right thing. And if it doesn’t transpire to the actual season episodes…well, then Bette’s asking to be walked all over.
