Georgia averts her eyes, “Yes, but we that means we can’t make up like you and I use to.”

            Charlotte places her index finger under the blonde woman’s chin, urging her to look up. “I miss that too. Sometimes I swear that one of started fights just so that we could make up.”

            “You can’t prove I did anything of the sort.”

            Charlotte chuckles; the vibration coursing through her body, through her finger and into Georgia.  “Of course not, you are too good to leave any evidence of wrong doing.”

            “Ouch. Was that a jab at my aff”

            “Please, don’t. It is done if you are happy then I am good with it.” Charlotte‘s eyes searched, trying to decide if Georgia was truly happy.

            “I am.”

           “Good,” Charlotte used her finger to tilt Georgia‘s head back. She leaned down inches away from the blonde’s ear. “I will always love you, nothing will change that. If you ever need anything all you have to do is ask,” she whispered. She closed the gap with the intention of a kiss on the cheek. Georgia turned toward Charlotte causing their lips to meet. The kiss was soft and tender; it lacked the passion of the millions of kiss they had previously shared. This kiss was a final good bye.

            Georgia broke away, her hand now on Charlotte‘s cheek. “I never stopped and I never will. I am glad that we still have something to bond us together. I don’t know if I could live without you in my life in some capacity.”

            “Stella is the best thing we ever did together.” Charlotte kisses Georgia‘s forehead and disentangles herself. She puts a safe distance between them before she continues. “So can we get together to discus a schedule?”

            “Yes, is Wednesday ok?” Charlotte‘s smell lingers over Georgia. She is suddenly very depressed that Charlotte is standing on the other side of her desk.

            “That is great. I have to go. Thanks for this. It means a lot to me,” Charlotte sadly smiles.

            Georgia starts to wonder how she could have forgotten that the dark haired woman had so many different smiles. Even when she was upset or sad she managed to smile.
