Titania: Bette?

Bette looked at the blonde beside her.

Bette: yeah T?

Titania: Do you think, they will believe I’m me?

Bette: That depends… who are you?

Bette wanted to know. If Tina was in there somewhere she needed to come out now for Bette to believe this was real. She was scared.

Titania: Bette, I fell in love with you 12 years ago in your art gallery after I showed up with that dumb boy friend of mine, I left my earring on the mantle in front of the Harold Johnston painting called The Move. You found it, the next day I dropped by your office in a white shirt and blue jeans, and you were wearing what you wore last night to dinner. A black turtle neck and dress pants.

Bette sat down on the bed and just looked at Titania. Oh…my…god…

Titania: We got married a few years later, then I quite my job, you worked at the C.A.C., and we wanted to have a baby. So we got pregnant. I lost our baby and you slept with another woman.

Titania paused.

Titania: I know who I am. But Bette, the question is, do you know who I am…

Bette: Tina…

Titania smiled and stood in front of Bette cupping her face.

Bette: But how… how did you..

Bette stuttered and Titania put a finger to Bette’s mouth.

Titania: You’re lucky, I got another chance so don’t question it, it just is. Okay?

Bette got up and grabbed the blondes hips and kissed her with such fierce passion it could rival the anger of a 700 man army. Bette pulled back and held on to her so tight.

Bette: I’m not letting you go again Tina, I can’t let you go again.

Bette just started crying, Tina just held her. Her looks were different, she had grown taller, her eyes were green, but her heart had remained the same.

Tina: I know baby. You didn’t have time to save me and that’s okay. I don’t blame you and no one blames you. I love you.

Bette: I know you do. I love you too. I missed you so much.

Tina smiled.

Tina: I can tell, I can hardly breathe.

Bette loosened her hold a little and grinned.

Bette: I’m sorry.

Tina: Let’s go for breakfast.

Bette: Okay.

They kissed softly before seeing if Angie was ready and once she was they got into Bette’s car and drove. Tina held Bette’s hand the entire way and when they got there Angie jumped out of the car and ran inside and into Kit’s arms. Bette and Tina still sat in the car.

Bette: Tina, I have to tell you, you know they are going to be skeptical at first.

Tina: I know that.

Bette smiled.

Bette: But I know they will be fine.

Tina: Alice is going to question me on everything. Like the great reporter she is. As long as she doesn’t put me on a top ten mystical events list I’m happy.

Bette laughed.

Bette: Let’s go.

They got out of the vehicle and walked hand in hand into The Planet then turned to the table. They look on the girls faces was priceless.

Alice: Oh….. My…… God…..
