Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it’s a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

There was a comfortable silence then Tina spoke again.

    Tina: Bette?

    Bette: Yeah T?

    Tina: I love you.

    Bette smiled softly.

    Bette: I love you too.

Then as those last words were spoken, they drifted off to sleep….

    9:38a.m., May, 19th, 2010

Tina slowly awoke as the morning light shined through the suite window and onto her face. She looked around curiously when she realized she was not at home then her eyes found Bette sleeping on the couch, half covered with the blanket which draped onto the floor and still snoring. Tina smiled as she looked at Bette’s face but her smile faulted when her eyes came in contact with a bruise on her cheek which had grown considerably larger that she remembered it. Tina got up and walked over to the couch and leant down. She brushed her fingers over Bette’s cheek who awoke instantly. Bette looked at Tina and smiled.

    Bette: Good morning.

Tina sat on the couch as Bette shifted so she could.

    Tina: Good morning.

They looked at each other for a short while. Almost as if they were trying to remember everything about each other all over again.

Tina: I think we should have a talking day today.

    Bette nodded.

Bette: I think that’s a great idea. What do you want to talk about?

    Tina smiled.

Tina: Everything. We haven’t seen nor heard from each other in what, three years? People change in periods of time. I can see already the changes in you.

    Bette looked up at Tina.

    Bette: I know.

Tina: I want to know what’s gone on in your life.

Bette smiled and got up maneuvering around Tina.

Bette: Let’s get some room service, and talk over breakfast.

    Tina nodded.

    Tina: Sounds good.

Bette got up and grabbed the phone ordering them breakfast. They talked about a few minor things before the food came and described a little how their lives were without one and other. When the food arrived Bette set the table then plated. Tina instantly began to question.

    1. Great story I don’t know how I missed this one I’ve read almost every B&T pairing on this site. Would have loved a more detailed description of Bette kicking Sharon’s ass but other than that it’s all good. Hope to read more of this.
