The Triangle of Love – Chapter 19
Alice: Dana, who is it?
As Alice was sat on the couch, she couldn’t see who was at the door. She’d heard a voice, but couldn’t tell whose it was. Aidan and Dana walked into the living room and as soon as Alice saw him, she began crying.
Alice: Aidan what happened?
Dana: Did Lara do this?
Aidan: Guys, don’t worry.
Alice: What!? Don’t worry? You’re covered in blood and you’re telling us not to worry?
Aidan: Yeah, it’s not my blood.
Dana: It’s not? Then whose is it?
Aidan: Its Lara’s.
Alice: Lara’s?
Aidan: Yeah, I think…
Dana: You think? It either is or it isn’t.
Aidan: No, it’s definitely her blood, but…
Alice: But what?
Aidan: I think I killed her.
Dana: What?
Alice: Oh my God!
Dana walked out of the room and straight to the bedroom. She slammed the door shut and dropped onto the bed. In the living room, Alice was trying to move, but she just couldn’t. Those damn pots were stopping her from getting to her girlfriend.
Alice: Aidan, get my chair. I need you to help me into it.
Aidan: Okay.
Aidan went to get Alice’s chair. He helped Alice into the chair and took Alice down the hallway to the bedroom. She knocked on the door slightly, but there was no answer. She told Aidan to go back into the living room, while she talked to Dana. Once Aidan had put Alice by the side of the bed, he did as he was told. He sat on the couch and waited.
Alice: Dane? Are you okay?
Dana: No.
Alice: Why?
Dana: She’s dead, Al. My first girlfriend is dead.
Alice: Dane, that’s not your fault.
Dana: Yes it is. If I hadn’t broken up with her, this never would have happened.
As Danas back was to Alice, she couldn’t see the look of hurt on Alice’s face. In a quiet voice, she asked:
Alice: Do you regret breaking up with her?
This time, Dana heard the hurt in her voice. She sat up in the bed and looked at Alice. There were tears running down both girls cheeks. Dana got out of bed and lifted Alice onto the bed, before climbing back in beside her. They both lay on their backs, not touching, but looking at each other.

Good for Dana and Alice, sad for Lara.
