Yesterday was the most difficult of Bette’s life, she couldn’t imagine what Tina waa going though.
The doctor had sat down bette after Tina’s biopsy, she had been in the hospital for 13 hours and, it was 3 AM,
and Bette could barely focus. The doctor cleared his voice, low and gentley he started to speak “Ms. Porter
i know you’ve had a long and difficult day, but im afraid i have bad news, please are you ready to hear it?…
we di the biopsy and tina is in recovery, she has stage 3 bone cancer. the biopsy confirms there are two
tumors…one near her kneecap and one in her jaw. im afraid one has spread to the bone membrane. tina is
very lucky in that she came before it spread to her spine. now becasue it has spread to the membrane im afraid
drastic surgery is needed as soon as possible, her leg has to be shortened to get rid of the tumour, and her jaw
i am afriad must be removed…the membrane there is affected, if we do not remove it she will have no chance, she needs
chemo and bone transplants…it is going to be a very hard road becasue of her age. luckyn for her there are
surgaons on call and the surgery will be done very soon, its best we get this done so tina can recover and things
will go from there. we will be able to rebuild her jaw, it will be a long operation…and she will need intense rehabiliation
and she will be in great pain, i must stree that she needs all the support you can give…im very sorry ms. porter”
it was like the world has ended. the doctor insisted that bette go home to rest after seeing tina, the operation
was going to be hours but they would call her as soon as it was done. bleary eyed Bette stared down at tina who lay
on the white hospital bed. tina knew what was going to happen. Bette stood there staring down, then reaching she
took tina’s hand in her own and squeezed. no words were spoken, their communication was through their eyes, their
thoughts, their touch, and the immense love between them that had grown stronger with the passage of time. words
were no use here, only the contact that had survived so much. they had never been more close than they were right
now. the body that Bette had loved and cherished, tina’s, was bette’s body too. the pain Tina had and was going to
have was Bette’s pain also. Bette felt calm though, holding onto tina’s hand was the only thing that stopped the crashing
down of her world. mentally Bette cursed love for its tears and pain, but she didnt regret loving tina, without it bette would
have been the walking dead.

Cass you have never dissapointed me with the drama, wow nice job, this is the makings of a family falling apart. Can’t wait to see where you take this.
well I have to say up until this point i was really enjoying this story, it was a nice pace in which was written, angelica wasn’t the most like-able person but well teens what to expect, then all of this drama, does it always have to be this extreme? cancer… I can undestand that, but the masturbation, the fight, the i hate you’s, the joint, the sex, was that really necesary? as for now am not loonger looking for updates cuz this is depressing instead of fun. Dont get me wrong I respect your writing is very good, I just cant stand this behaivor. Good luck with your story.
these are based on my personal experiences so if you cant handle that then dont read i dont hold it against you, but it seems TLW fanfiction readers are just looking to read stories that are all lovey dovey happy if dramatic then the endings are good nice romantic blah blah…the truth is that life does not solely comprise of that, and i have seen people, fmailies etc enough to know shit like this happens on a regular basis. this is drama fan fiction stories, each story is suppossed to be different looking at different issues and realities. im interested in lookeing at all situations and putting my characters through things so i can weave stories infused with every possible emotion, not candy-coated or whatever…i want to take my favourite L Word couple and write how they respond to different situations. teenagers do this shit, my sister did it i did it everyone i knew who was a teenager had their own personal hell whether it was mild or extreme. as for the cancer, so many people get cancer these days it shouldnt be out of the ordinary for Tina to get it…it is an oppurtunity to see this family deals with this and each other, the future chapters are going to look at this process adn there will be tragedy happiness sadness bonding etc…if you cant handle it go read sometihng else but thank you to my loyal fans..its becasue of your support that i even attempt to write.
What is going on on this site??? Tina is losing her jaw? She’s gonna have a peg leg?
Bette got her face shoved in a mirror in another fic, and Tina might not survive heart surgery to remove a bullet in another.
And I thought Ilene Chaiken was harsh!
