Alice sat in her living room, remote in hand, conflicted. She knew that Dana’s big match would be on in two minutes and she was debating watching it. The writer turned the t.v. on, then immediately off, then back on again,
’Fuck are you going to do this or not…? We’re going to do this…just watchin a little t.v. that’s all…that’s it.’ Alice’s jaw clenched as she placed the remote within reach, just in case she couldn’t take it.
“Hello and welcome to the Pepsi Slam Tour. This afternoon we have Crystal Depams, the crowd favorite rookie who has been obleterating her competition throughout the season, facing veteran and number three ranked Dana Fairbanks. Not going to be an easy match for either of these women, Chief. Word has it that Fairbanks recently sustained a moderate groin injury while training, and the pain is evident watching her practice.”
The t.v. made a cut to Dana and Alice’s heart jumped a bit, she looked different, her skin was much darker and her muscles defined through her tank top, but Alice realized what made the athlete look so different was her expression. Dana’s usual smile or grin was replaced by a look of extreme pain, she looked unfocused and frazzled. Alice scooted closer to the t.v. concerned as the announcer began to match them against each other.
”Well, despite the enormous amount of pain Fairbanks must be in, she looks phenomenal, her training must really be paying off and let’s just hope it shows this afternoon.”
Another cut to the power rankings and a match-up of previous games, and by the look of the digital comparisons and other various charts it seemed as if everyone expected Dana to lose. Alice stared at the t.v. empathetic for Dana, she hadn’t been around the Planet and Bette said she rarely saw the athlete anymore. The blonde wanted desperately to speak to Dana but knew that it was too soon to go there,
”Dana…” Alice whispered aloud when she saw the brunette step onto the court for the first serve, her facial expression was twisted in agony as she bounced on her heels to receive the first serve. Depams walked on to the court cockily twisting the racquet in her hands, she smiled directly into the camera, long blonde hair and blue eyes, she was dubbed the ‘Anna Kornikova clone’. She was quite the media whore, soaking in every second of television time she could, Dana rolled her eyes as Depams posed for the press. The athlete looked to Victoria who sat front row near the court, her doubles partner mouthing ‘what the fuck’ and causing Dana to smiled despite her situation.

wooo loving this story, sorry i havnt been comenting before but really is a great story, please get alice and dana together soon. love the tennis match part of the story, remindes me of a tournament i played 2 week back….gee it was painful lolanyway post soon lease :)x
I can’t believe what a tease you are…First with Victoria and then with Alice,lol. Sexual tension fills the air. I hate that Alice felt like she had to change the channel but I know why she did.. she still loves Dana. I have a feeling Cliff will be walking at some point, am I right or is it wishful thinking on my part? That Crystal seems like a real bitch, putting down Dana.I can see the so called medication being a possible problem for Dana… I hope it doesn’t mess her up too badly. Who knows what could happen with Dana under the influence. Alice and Dana sure have a thing about bathrooms…. I’d rather see them take it into the bedroom if you know what I mean, lol. Awesome chapter. You really have me wondering now… where its going next. Post soon!
great update – yeah i can’t believe i haven’t commented before now. this is definitely my favorite story right now. I am glad to see you are sticking with Danish. It seems like alot of the Danish writers have abandoned us. But anyway – great installment. I am glad Victoria (though I like her) let Dana think about it before they did anything. I wonder what will happen. and what about this trip Dana and Alice are going on… that should be interesting. I wonder if the message will come to light. OK post soon.
I seriously love this story. It’s killing me though! You are a brilliant writer and I love how everytihng is coming together, even though I’m sureeee we have time until Dana and Alice finally get together. Please dont make us wait too loong!! I love this story and haven’t comment yet, though I can’t remember why. :) Brilliant, can’t wait for the next chapter! You leave me wanting more.
This story gets better and better! Yeah, Dana won the match! :D The drug-thing has got me a bit worried. It’s a good thing Victoria put a hold to the make out session. I hope Dana realizes it’s not fair to Victoria (and she acts on it by ignoring her hormones…even when she is drunk/drugged). Thereby, I think Dana really needs a friend who can take care of her (in a non-sexual way). You gotta love Danish for their fetish for bathrooms. :P And will Dana be joining Alice on the trip to San Diego…?? (Btw, I wouldn’t mind if Shane would come along, I also love the three of them together.)

Loved this update, I’ve been reading this story for a while nut got around to commenting! Sorry about that. I love any story with the potential of happy Danish….so I’m hoping they will going to San Diego together and have a good talk about stuff…..and maybe some make up session (sorry that’s my dirty mind talking) Anyway looking forward to the next update.
