ClosetDana
***
Alice sat in front of Cliff’s door with her head in her hands, she wasn’t even sure how she was going to approach this, but Cliff needed to know about Dana. The writer had been waiting almost twenty minutes before he arrived; looking adorable and sexy in a white button up shirt with jeans and those damn black Chuck Taylor’s he loved so much. Cliff gave Alice a smile that she weakly returned; he wrapped his arms around her waist and placed an easy-going kiss on her lips. Alice held him close for a moment, thinking this might be the last time Cliff held her like this. Despite her feelings for Dana, the writer still felt something for Cliff and it tore Alice apart that she even had to choose.
“Hey baby…you’re just sitting out here waiting for me? Why didn’t you use your key?” Cliff said as he moved an errant hair from out of Alice’s face, the writer staring deep into his eyes and changing the break-up speech she’d prepared. Alice took a deep breath and let it out slow,
“I need to talk to you about something,” Alice said, Cliff’s smile fading a bit, but his expression stayed cheerful.
“If this is about moving in with me, I told you not to rush on my behalf, I’ll be happy either way as long as I’m with you.” He said Alice’s face winced as she moved out of Cliff’s arms and sat on the front steps, her head migrating back to her hands.
“I kissed Dana,” The writer muffled into her hands, Cliff shook his head believing he’d heard wrong. Cliff sat down next to Alice and pulled her head from out of her hands.
“I’m sorry Al did you just—“ Alice cut him off repeating it again and looking in his eyes, tears streaming down her face.
“I kissed Dana…” Cliff stared blankly at Alice, his face slowly registering confusion.

I do feel bad for Cliff bless him, but come on, it’s Dana and Alice, they gotta end up together! Great chapter, can’t wait for the next post!
You know I love this story and the fact that you’re writing it makes me smile so big. Whoever demanded the story must be very lucky, lol. I was worried with Cliff’s words to Alice cause they were so heartfelt and I can see her being a pushover. I know she cares about him but there is only one person she is really meant to be with. Go Victoria.. I love her backbone! It was about time to kick Dana to the curb for her bad behavior and to give her that wakeup call. I guess Alice is quick to forgive Shane.. although I’m not sure I could be the same way. I don’t have to tell you how much I enjoyed the Gena/Vic moment… it was steamy, lol. I hope you have more planned for them. And I hope Alice and Dana are going to have a hell of a reunion… or is that me wishing too hard? I’ll hope for the best cause I trust you, CD.. and hope is all I have right now. I’ll be waiting patiently for the next chapter… but if you make me wait too long I’ll be on you, lol.
It’s nice to see Dana with a friend unrelated to the group. Cliff seems too good to be true. I hope he doesn’t blow up.
sooooooooooo glad your back on the writting wagon! That’s great becuase you write them so well. This chap was so great so emotional i kinda feel bad for clif lol BUT poor Dana! plzzz post soon! :)
Hey, it was good to see an update. This story is going along really well, congratulations. As for Soul Singing, I’m trying my hardest to get the next chapter finished.
I absolutely love this story, so glad to see that you posted again soon. I think you’re an amazing writer and i can’t wait to continue the story! Thanks for the update, Go Danish!
*sigh* I’m content until you update again. I freaking LOVE this story! I feel bad for Cliff, but I mean please, Danish are just meant to be! :-) Great job, and I’m glad that you’re updating more frequently. Writers block sucks, I know, so I hope it’s leaving you alone!
Hi, im really lovin this story, very emotional. Glad shane is with alice right now, she needs a friend and poor cliff and dana. keep it up and hopefully no more writers block hey. thanks.
Another really good chapter ClosetDana.I really can’t wait to read what happens next. =)
Whoo-freaking-hoo! I love this story. It’s one of my favorites. It went by so fast though! LOL Keep it up and post soon. Glad to hear that your writers block is getting better :D Seriously, great chapter!
Like I said before, I thought the conversation with Cliff was realistic. An I loved the remark Victoria made. :D And I agree with you, the conversation with Shane needed to be a funny one. There will be enough to think and talk about for Alice and Dana. I’m glad Gena convinced Victoria to be there for Dana. Dana can really use a good friend right now. Will Alice find out that Dana has a drugproblem? I wonder how she will react… But I’m still praying for a happy ending (Victora is already out of the picture as a love interest, Cliff will be next…and then only one thing can happen). :D
