Tossing And Turning – Part 6
T: Okay, see you then.
B: See you then.

“Wow… you look amazing.” Tina said to Bette, talking her in with her eyes. Bette had a white dress on that reached to her knees, it fell over her belly beautifully and her hair was loose. Bette’s fuller breasts were also in view but not too much. The little white purse was in Bette’s hand. The silver jewelry made it perfect.
“Thanks. You also look breathtaking, Tina.” Bette said. Tina looked breathtaking, indeed. A blue dress that was a little under mid-thigh and with short sleeves. The cleavage was deep but decent. Her hair was up and the silver earrings were shining in the light of the full moon. Tina held out her hand and Bette took it.
“Thank you.” Tina said and they walked to the car. Tina held the door open for Bette who chuckled.
“What? I have to open the door for a pregnant woman.” Tina said. Bette got in and a few moments later Tina to. They started to engine and drove to the restaurant.
——-
The dinner had gone smoothly. They had talked about everything and nothing, laughing and really enjoying each other’s company. Of course, they also talked about their baby that would join them in 2 months.
“So, are you really sure you don’t want to know the sex of our baby?” Tina asked.
Bette bit her lip. “I don’t know.”
“It’s handy to know because then you can buy the right clothes and don’t make the mistake of painting the nursery in a bad color.” Tina said.
Bette sighed. “Actually I do want to know. I am just very, very curious.”
“So I can tell you?” Tina asked.
“Yes.” Bette reacted.
“We are going to have a son. It’s a boy.” Tina said to Bette who smiled widely. Bette whipped a tear away.
“Jaythan Quinn.” Bette said.
“Yep, lil Jay.” Tina told her.
“That’s amazing.” Bette told Tina still a little emotional.
“It is.”
“Won’t it be hard for you that Jaythan will be only 25% white?” Bette asked. Tina shook her head.
“It doesn’t matter, Bette. I know he can never look like me, that’s okay with me. That won’t make me love him less.”

Nice chapter. The carpenter reference was classic. I like that Bette has a friend outside of the gang that she can talk to about Tina so everyone isn’t interfering in their business. Nice progress in their relationship and how you are moving the story along. Thanks for posting often.
Nice post! Tina’s reaction was awesome…lol did she think Bette had another family? The green eyed monster strikes again. Can’t wait to see what’s next for our girls.
Well, the date seems to have gone well. Interesting dream… why does no one ever seem to reference the Bon Scott era of AC/DC? Pre-1980 AC/DC is classic! Nice chapter, thanks!
