Turn About Is Fair Play – CH56
Yes, I am, Tina replied without missing a beat, but I still dont like her 100% though I plan on trying to fix that and Im still a little hurt emotionally, Tina said with a sigh.
Thats understandable, Dana got up and looked at the time. Listen, Im glad that you and I talked and that youre not mad with me. I hope all of us can get together soon and this time I wont do anything behind your back, Dana hugged Tina and left.
Tina showered and readied herself for bed, but sleep eluded her. It was now 5:20am and her body refused to sleep, so Tina got up and went to the kitchen to get some milk. She checked on Alice who was snoring loudly and definitely out for the count. Tina thought about what Dana had said and then thought about Bette and an idea struck her. Tina rushed back into her room, slipped into some sweats, scribbled a note to Alice, grabbed the keys, and left.
Tina
Less than an hour later, Tina arrived with coffee, orange juice, and fresh muffins and bagels; she tapped on the door waiting for Bette to answer. She could hear Bettes drag her feet across the hardwood floor and stop on the other side of the door.
Who? Bette yawned.
Breakfast delivery for Ms. Porter, Tina said in a disguised voice.
A what? Not for me, I didnt order anything, Bette started to walk away, still groggy and confused by the early morning caller.
Tina knocked on the door again. Ms. Porter, it was sent over for you and its paid for, Tina stated, hoping to coax Bette back to the door. I cant just leave it here, I need your signature to prove I delivered it, Tina tried to hold her laughter back, and could hear Bette walking back toward the door.
Okay, okay, fine. Whatever you want, Bette fussed. Who the ***** delivers breakfast anyway? Bette unlocked the door. Tina? What the? Bette gasped as she saw Tina standing there with her hands full. Oh, my goodness! Bette blushed.
Well, are you gonna just stand there or can I come in? Tina laughed at Bettes astonishment.
Yeah, sure, come in. Im sorry, Bette stepped back to let Tina in. What are you doing up so early? Didnt you get home a little while ago? Bette babbled.
Yeah, you could say that, Tina sat the food on the kitchen table. I couldnt sleep, so I thought Id take advantage of my insomnia, Tina smiled. Hungry?
Bette stared at Tina still having a hard time believing she just showed up out of the blue. Tina opened the bags exposing the food and slid the coffee and orange juice in front of Bette.
Thanks Tina, you didnt have to do this, Bette felt undeserving of Tinas kindness.
I know. I did it because I want to, Tina sipped her coffee. I also did it because we have friend who wants us to be friends again, Tina revealed.
Dana! They said in unison and laughed.
As the sun began to rise on West Hollywood, Bette and Tina enjoyed a quiet breakfast.

I’m with Cramit…reading this chapter made me happy. You are a good storyteller, Blu!
This chapter made me happy. I liked the dialogue between Dana and Tina and I loved the idea of Tina bringing Bette breakfast and just hanging out with her. I’d love to see them start to pal around as friends and then have those flirty feelings start to pop up again. As always, looking forward to another update. 5 stars!!
